Sparring is the only fighting activity which requires skill?
Sparring is the only thing in graal that requires skill? If you're not good at sparring you are a noob? Being "good" and having lots of kills from PKing and BKing is just a coping mechanism for noobs? Yes or no.

Anyone can enter mod fort and swing their sword in a bunch of directions, anyone can sit in a mob and spam the s key. Sparring makes the fights fair and as you obviously know, it's much harder to get a spar win than a kill. Yes you can be good at pking but it honestly doesn't take much skill imo |

If you look at PK stats-wise, then no it doesn't require skill, but good PK actually does require skill, along with basing. It can't be measured by stats though, but neither can spar, since some people just join rooms with new players & leave when 'pros' come in.

PKing is definitely a skill. The only way of telling on Classic however is actually watching someone PK. If they ever showed deaths in the profile, then you would be able to see who is really good, barring those that lame kills or do some sort of "shifty business" to get it. PKing is almost a lost art imo, a lot of people care more about sparring. I would love to see a server hosted Guildwar, first to 10000k kills gets a hat. Would be fun, would also encourage pking guild, and therefore more PKing in order to practice for it.

Pk doesn't require skill. The only factor is how much time will you waste PKing

exactly Its so boring too the best and only server fun to pk on is zodiac
I have sparred many positive people who are selective and suck
Not very effective way of making money compared to farming The year you started in doesn't make you better either your items either. Its the amount of friends and enemies you have in the community and your general knowledge of graal Basically in my prespective if you think graal was made in 2009 you are a noob! |

oh yeah? So you're saying that a noob, from Balamb, which has no skill at all can PK at mod and get at least 1 kill per 2-3 minutes for 1 hour? Unlikely. You need skill, you need to know where to go, you need to know where to hit, and what to do to be as efficient as possible when Player Killing. Player killers that are top ranked are no joke. |

It depends on how you grade skill at pking. If you try and grade skill of of just the total number of pks someone has, then there is none, it's just time investment. That being said, there is a skill as to how quickly someone can get many pks, and how efficiently. Anyu rose to her high number of pks very very quickly, and though she did put decent time in, the efficiency in her pking was quite clear, which takes skill. There is also of course the matter of kill to death ratio. Spar may be a bit more clear as to why it takes skill, but I wouldn't say it's the only thing, assuming the skill measured for pking is what I mentioned above. That sums up my opinion in the matter. |

Yeah, I'm not so sure about that. Maybe she was just tired, but every time I saw Anyu (lll) at MoD, her fighting wasn't what I would called skilled. Anyone can get a lot of kills if they just put in the time. As for the OP question, everything requires skill to some degree, but don't expect the statistics on a profile to correlate. |
