I think you should start with a sketch pad. In other words.... https://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=...CgIQMwgxKA8wDw |

http://wayofthepixel.net/index.php?topic=44.0 i wouldnt start with a cintiq right of the bat, but those on-screen tablets might be easier to get used to, especially if youve pixeled on your mobilephone or mobiletablet before im using a wacom intuos 3 a5 wide, its quite durable, fell to the floor a couple of times (10-20 times) and i repaired it like twice, the con about it is that the cable is the most vulnerable part, if you move it around a lot within years, it breaks within the isolation, so you might need to fix it at some point, but its very good to get into that stuff its already 8 years old or something and still working perfectly fine i like the newer generations more in terms of tablet design, and they fit better on flat surfaces i would probably spend 200-300$ for a starter tablet, and i guarantee, its the best investment youll ever do, if you really get into it lots of people started with a wacom bamboo, its a cheaper alternative all you should really care for is pen preassure/sensibility and accuracy, most tablets are trash because they dont synch properly with the movement or arnt even properly read when drawing around the survace |
