3d or 2d? Either way, find the program you wish to use, and check their website for any tutorials. There's usually at least a basic skill level taught there. If you're talking about 3d, I personally use Blender. There is a pretty large community behind it, and tons of the people in that community are way more than willing to answer your questions. Not to mention there are alot of function specific tutorials all over their forums (link). I've also bought a couple books in the past year and they really helped out, but are more specific to modeling not animation. I can animate, but in all honesty the animations I've made really do suck in most every aspect. More for placeholder use in my personal timekiller projects than anything. |
