Some Suggestions
So it's been 7 years since the release of this off client Graal...I find the advancements mediocre at best, with the focus on corny graphic related items. Still no real questing? Why because its not money making? Just reintroduce the old quests from the original classic, along with great items like bruges bird, birdshot, zorbi ring. In my honest opinion, there should be a banking system and you should drop gralats when killed, just like the old days. On top of that, virtually ALL outside areas should be PK ZONES, while insides are safe havens. I feel this would clear out lag when crossing levels and revive PKing while killing SPAM. One big question, how is there no real FAQ or player support for certain questions? It's really a giant let down. Another suggestion, instead of people viewing in the spar rooms, it might help the lag if there was a spar viewing room vs a spar arena, then theres no spam chat or that glitch where when people walk in the room it induces lag, they appear in the middle of the ring, sometimes spars just stop or hearts change. Seriously something to consider. The last thing that grinds my gears is how you can't DISABLE focus in spars, it auto focuses, which sucks when you're someone who comes from the realm of PK. I believe it used to be an option, this should be an option. I'd literally pay an admin to drop the codes in the battle arena levels, which would take 5 minutes I'm sure. These are just some suggestions I feel would make the game a lot more fun than it currently is, these are some of the things that really made the original so fun for me. Thoughts?

Lol its pretty much like the original just lacking, probably due to laziness and focusing on money making. It wouldn't hurt to implement these ideas as they have already been done and add a lot more to the spectrum IMHO.

I think they are focused on moving iClassic forward with new updates. Not moving back to rehash the older stuff, some of it might get added in time, but i think they are looking for new directions, as opposed to making it more like the old product. And the dropping gralats thing won't happen, not with people spending real money on their gralats. Though having the option to not have the fixed view in spar would be nice. |

There's a reason old classic died out.

I agree with all these ideas, though the old quests from old classic shouldn't be reintroduced. They weren't put in for a reason, and that being that they were very repetitive and boring. I'm sure our trusty dev's our working extremely hard on quests, they just want to make sure they're good quality and enjoyable (just like the destiny ones were) Though, I do think more work should be put into quests instead of other projects. Maybe add quest hats to buy with quest points. |

Ok cool, new quests and items instead of old, I get that, but I don't see why they wouldn't just use the previous concept to build from. Dropping of gralats, I get people spend money on it, but if they can put it in the bank then it wouldn't be that much of an issue, just a part of the game that adds diversity to pking and getting more gralats. And in reply to Brick, the old Classic didn't die due to these things, it died due to lack of promotion, also being a PC Client game, expensive pay rates to even play at a basic level, constant server downtime for updates, and the birth of iClassic. |

The design of the old Classic doesn't really work well with even 1000+ players, yet alone the 4000 average the server gets these days. The content provided is anything but lazy, and in fact that's why the old systems just don't work. It costs way too much dev time to create a quest that will only give players at the very least a few hours of play time. That's a horrible investment in time that's better spent on replayable content. That's not to say quests haven't been done, but they're usually complementary to the areas rather than their entire focus. Don't like it? Thankfully everything you want is over @ Graal the Adventure on the PC server. |

Sorry Dusty, I have to disagree, there were tons of items and quests took longer than a few hours. Worried about too many people in the same level at the same time or something? I truly don't understand your points. It adds another aspect to the game, so writing it off completely is a bit ridiculous. |

Yeah, but the ratio of code to time spent is horrible for quests. It takes a long time to make a quest, and most of them can be finished in minutes since everyone just tells everyone else exactly what to do anyway. It scales up too, so if a quest is really long it took the coder that much longer to create it. Where as with the looting system, people have gotten hundreds, if not thousands of hours from it. While I have no idea how long it took them to create, people have undoubtedly gotten more time out of it than it took to create. |

So slowly implement them like they did originally, ex: "4th heart just released, etc" so it gives something to look forward to and time to develop.
