Child slavery goes on in many places, I'm gonna use India as an example. It was recorded that there are an estimated 68 million child slaves. And 59 million of them do not attend school or are not properly educated. The meaning of this thread is to ask you what are your thoughts on these horrible acts? Should we stop it? Why or why not? And are these children already too far gone. Just knowing that most likely every child that is a slave would trade lives with you in a heartbeat. #pceout

I don't know anyone who would be for child slavery... or slavery at all... Most of the "child slaves" are taken for sex/babies (girls) or fighting (boys). The world has a lot of **** they can do about it, but they don't. I don't mean to undermime this thread or the topic, but it's just an opinion that I have formed from hearing political talk for so long without action that there's hardly any point in even discussing it unless there can be action to back it up.  

Most people are probably going to say to stop it but at the same time, not do jack **** about it.

I should know because I say it should stop but hell, I sure ain't going to do anything about it anytime soon.

I think he means Child Labor.  

Imo there can't be much done about it really.

I knew someone in the past irl who actually sold women and young girls against their will for literally a few decades. He never got arrested for that even though he served 15 years in jail for other reasons.
What I'm saying is that it isn't easy to get into that entire slave/prostitute thing as a cop, and vice versa out of it too as a woman.

Don't really think that its preventable in huge societies and cities, also pretty sure things like selling women or enslaving people in general was always a thing in the history of humanity, so rip.  

That's how it works, other people suffer and die while we pay only a few bucks for clothes, food and whatnot.  

I think it'll never end. We eliminate one branch, another grows. But we as a community are capable of saving those who are being forced, exploited or harmed. It's the 3rd largest crime (aside from drugs and guns) and we can eliminate as many organizations and stop individuals that feed off this inhuman act. Unfortunately, there are far too many networks and an underground system that it will continue to expand.

I wish for humanity's sake it ends. No human should have to go through both a physical and psychological breakdown.
