Longboard?
My old skateboard broke a while ago so I stopped skating but yesterday a few friends invited me to go skating with them and my friend borrowed me his longboard. Now I've never had a longboard before but I know a thing or two about them and imo theyre nicer than skateboards, so I was wondering if anyone has any good longboard reccomendations since I'll probs buy one today or next week. I have arround 150 bucks to waste so don't recommend anything like 300 lmao, ordering the board or going to a shop (as long as its in my city) is both fine for me. we r going skating today again and I still have the longboard from yesterday gg |

I've never been satisfied with a prebuilt deck. I'd choose out the parts yourself so you can get exactly what you want. If you're cruising I'd recommend a pintail deck. The Sector 9s are a lil pricey but I've had mine for years and it's my baby. A general rule for longboards: reverse kingpin trucks. They will change your ****ing life. Nothing will beat superreds for the price when it comes to bearings. I went with a low durometer for my wheels. I got the Abec 11 flywheels. Tacky and huge as ****, but boi are they a smooth ride. Unless you're gonna be sliding I'd go with something similar. Low durometer and large. Just don't pull the same mistake my friend made and go too low with a cheap brand. Rough roads will tear your wheels up. |
