Mining: a funner and more reliable way to make gralats
Yes funner is a word now A good money making method should be fun, and never predictable. I've been thinking about this concept for a while because graal has an abundance of caves. So I think I've finally figured out how I'd like to see it done. Now I realize how long this would take to make, but still I want to put it out there. To start you would have to get a pic. I'm thinking a shop somewhere in the caves which sells one for 100-300 gralats. Not much, but a little price so he can make a living. Now here's the thing: the rocks are actually gralats. So it's not coal, iron, gold, etc. it's green, blue, red, gold, purple, and yes even black. How mining works is the better the rock the longer it takes to mine. You mine it by rapidly tapping the pic item on the block which will damage it until it breaks. So green will take like 5 taps, blue 12, red 25, and do on. Something like that. When you break a rock 1-3 of the gralat types will spill out. I realize that there's a possibility for 3000 gralats from a single blak block but keep reading. I'll go into that later. It's mostly made so you can get a desent payout from green and blue blocks. The larger the payout of each block the less frequent it will be too. So there will be less blacks then greens by a lot. Each block is seperated by depth. Better blocks are deeper down. Deeper down however it also gets darker. And baddies love darkness hehe. But I'll talk about that a little later. The first floor, green floor, is completely lit. There's no baddies, no challenge to your mining. You just kind of go. That's the players choice. If he wants a bigger payout with more adventure then he should I deeper however. On the second floor, or blue floor it's still pretty light. However the slight darkness makes a few bats and rats o there. Not a huge challenge but a little something to give you a run for your money. After this is the red which is as dark as a normal cave. Here there are more rats and bats as well as moles and spiders. At gold things start getting interesting. It's very dark so your gonna need a lantern. I also propose along with this idea that we make it so lanters automatically turn on in dark areas. You don't need to equip it or anything. However you still can if you want to. Now before of you died you could immediatly spawn. Not here. Here your dragged up to the previous floor by other miners upon death who warn you about going too far down. There are also many unexplored areas which you need bombs to blow up walls and access. However this is on a small scale. Giant worms are introduced into the equation, as well as zombies. What you didn't know you were digging in an old graveyard? Go down deeper to the purple level and things begin to get very difficult. You can't see anything but the area your lantern lights, and there are some mean baddies down here. There are rock soldiers trying to defend their brethren from being mined. Then you also have much bigger rats. You need bombs a lot more to get to those purple blocks now too. Now blacks when things really get fun. Basically every block requires a few bombs to get to. This areas not explored at all. It's super dark, just barely lighter than that deadwood maze. You'll find the same baddies here, but you'll be crippled with much less visibility. While it takes a lot of work to get these blocks, theyre payout is huge. While you might rage a little, it'll still be fun and you'll feel accomplished with every one you get. You could also make the baddies drop gralats too, and bombs so people don't run out. Also I'd suggest making the baddies show up on everyone's screen separately. So when another person comes down they have to kill all te baddies too and can't let someone do all the work for them. Anyway what do you think? |

Looks like a serious, in-depth thread. But as mentioned in many threads prior:

Your idea becomes good at gold. Do you understand how easy it would be to quickly farm reds without abusing glitches? I do really like your ide- I WANNA GO BACK TO THE OLD MINECRAFT

Bland because I typed it from my iPhone. And it is sort of easy at green and blue but you don't get much pay out. And red isn't all that easy. Some bad monsters there And I know it's been suggested before but there are different ways people can do it. This is mine. And I want alpha back too lol. The end? Animal breeding? Enchantment? All belong in mods not the vanilla game. Honestly breeding is the worst animals still have to spawn. Especially on servers. You shouldn't have to make 2 chickens have sex with a flower or whatever it is to get another chicken. But that's off topic. |

Acquiring gralats is meant to be boring who wants to farm for hours in a gh it's boring. That makes people buy gralat packs and that's keeps Stefan happy and iPhone graal running

A really good idea but to be implemented it needs to be hard at red and asian hard at purple and chuck norris hard at black so that the staff can still safely know nobody is making a huge profit
