Growing "furniture"

Just a simple idea for a kind of job. You buy a furniture item, and when it's placed in your house it automatically grows to different stages. As it progresses, it becomes more valuable to sell. Like for example, buy a pine tree sapling, put it in your house, and when it's fully grown sell it for a profit. This could be done for other things like special crystals or even livestock.

You can make a decent haul off of the pyrat quest and the bandit hideout if you know where to sell the loot for the higher payouts already, why is it unrealistic to just want new ways to earn gralats?

You can't really compare this method to the pyrat quest and looting. Those 2 actually require some amount of work and effort. This sounds like investing and only requires waiting, which is not very hard when people tend to save for holidays anyways.
