I enjoyed the game a lot but felt it was too short of a storyline. The game is really a throwback to what they used to make. Their other more recent new games were all just zombie shooting while this one was a jump scare creepy vibe game. Which I loved and most of the jump scares really did get me. From them breaking in, hearing things break and creeping me out.

I knew going into the game it was going to be mainly about puzzel finding/running around so I think that was what made the game much easier for me to beat so quickly while I got everything I needed. Most of the fights I end up losing all of my amno and making me vaule what to killl with this gun and what to save and so on. I am playing right now on the Madhouse mode which is harder/you need the VCR Tapes to save the game and less checkpoints. Which is really fun since it makes me think even more and using the coins in the right way.

There was one part in the game that bugged me so much and

When you pick which one you will give the cure for the D-virus Zoe or Mia and the pick really didn't matter didnt change the outcome after it and it really pissed me off. Wish it changed a little bit and made it so you played as Zoe for a bit until she dies off.

I do wish I had the VR set while I played this but I dont have one as of now and no space for it  

Didn't get to purchase it but I watched the walkthrough in Gamers Little Playground. I honestly loved it. The puzzles, the jump scares, and the constantly paranoia of the Bakers on your ass throughout the game. I'm assuming the DLC coming out will feature this new Redfield under the command of UC.  

I've never played a RE game but I was very close to buying RE4 but chose not to because I figured the ****ty controls might just ruin the entire game for me. This game didn't really seem to have much, if any story that other RE games have - such as Umbrella Corps or anything like that. Looked like some side story that mattered none to the overall plot of RE but was still in the RE universe. It looks like a good game but I'm bitch when it comes to horror games so I'm not getting it, especially if it doesn't have the story that intrigued me in RE with umbrella corps and all that. I got Outlast for free on XB1, I started playing it and ended up quitting after about 20 minutes cause it was too ****ing dark and scary.  

Am I the only one who's getting PT vibes from this game?  

All the youtubers are playing it, its like all thats showing up on my feed now lol. I saw the demo so far and it is a bit PT-ish  

I believe they were planning on making this game before PT showed up but I don't know if it was or not. It does have a silent hill feel but I believe Silent Hill/P.T. would of been better since Hideo knows what he is doing.
