That post is just sparring with a visual gimmick. Is it really that good of an idea?

It works in Mario kart because you don't have an always available weapon. If we adopted item boxes that gave random weapons like bows, bombs, boomerang and such(all limited use) then I feel it would be a much more viable game mode.

Well Graal could have something similar to this game mode, but with Graal Items. Let Item Boxes contain Graal Items, maybe make some alternate variations. There are a lot of possibilities with this! Would make this very much a Team/Guild Activity, more frantic, chaotic and fun.

Quick list of Items (rly spontaneous, will add more if I have more ideas:
1. Arrows - With a set amount of Ammo
2. Bomb - Could be bombs with cross explosion and scatter one
3. Different Baddy Types - These would work for the Team that got one
4. Balloon - aka Health

Moving on to more Status Condition kinda things.
5. Invincibility - Active for X Seconds
6. Thief Mode - Active for X Seconds, hit someone to get their balloon
7. Hug - Hug a Team member to give them a Balloon of Yours


These are just some ideas and suggestions, but I personally would think a game like this would be very fun and interesting to play  

If this had another goal other than 'kill the enemies' I would really be enthusiastic. If it were a race, that would be cool... also could be an admin event... similar to sumo or team fort or that old freeze tag (which we don't see anymore).

There was a post on that thread suggesting that the more balloons you have, the slower you run. It would be cool to implement that idea with the jumping boots gani so it looks like the balloons are lifting you upward, thus slowing you down (No grip). It would add a twist to the game mode. I also like the item box idea.
