Halloween Submissions 2018!!

Why hello my fellow Graalians.

Halloween is quickly approaching and I don't think Christmas should be the only holiday that should get to have player submissions! We want to see what spook-tacular stuff you guys can come up with!

This event will work just like the Christmas event, only there won't be 4 categories to theme your stuff as. Just one theme this time, and that theme is...
!!HALLOWEEN!!

I hope that was obvious...

Those of you whose submissions get accepted and put in-game will receive a reward of 10,000 gralats for more complex items (ex. hats, mounts, furniture. etc.) or 5,000 gralats for simpler items (ex. toys, food, etc.) AND your submission(s)!

All the player submitted items will be sold in the Candy Shop at Deadwood

We want you guys to submit the spookiest, scariest and, of course, most creative stuff you can come up with!!
Of course, the same rules apply here as the Christmas submission and uploading rules which are as follows:

All Content must be made solely by you, from scratch, meaning no edits of existing content
Any graphics made between two or more people as a collaboration can only gain the rewards on a singular account
NO copyright infringement
Keep things appropriate (i.e. nothing obscene, indecent, or controversial in nature)
Do not use pure black (#000000) or pure white (#ffffff). If you use these colors, they will be transparent in-game
You may submit multiple items
If you make recolors, you will receive all the colors you submit but will only receive the gralats for the one hat. You cannot accumulate more gralats from multiple colors of one item
All submissions must utilize one of the provided templates. Custom sized morphs, mounts, furniture, etc. will not be allowed
All submission must be either a .png or .gif file format. Any other file formats (ex. .jpeg, .jpg, etc.) will not be accepted
Accessories will not be allowed for this event
This thread will be used for questions and comments only. Posts not pertaining directly to this event will be removed. If you wish to post your progress and receive or give constructive criticism, please use the progress thread

If you're interested in submitting content for this event, then upload your creations to an image hosting website (such as imgur.com) and email the links to [email protected]. Title the email "Halloween Submission" and include your Graal ID (which can be found in the feedback menu in-game).
If you do not include your Graal ID you cannot receive your reward should your submission be accepted!

Answer
Absolutely! This isn't strictly a forums event, though it would be best if said person checks out this thread to get all the information they might need. Can we attach files to the email or do we have to use an image hosting site?
Answer
We would prefer you use an image hosting site, but if you absolutely don't want to do that and the files you send are either .png or .gif file formats, it would be fine.

That would totally fine, and a good idea for the sake of consistency!

I don't see any problem with that as long as it's not too over-the-top! It is Halloween, after all! Just keep in mind that a lot of kids do play this game, so as long as you follow the rules listed above you should be fine.

Answer
Anything that would be better made as an accessory wouldn't be accepted (ex. no glasses, scarves, backpacks, wings, etc.)

Can players from Graal submit items? I'm not the best at graphics but I have a friend that would most likely be interested in this. If I redirect her to this page can she submit files?

You mean not from graal? If she doesn't play graal she can't get a prize, and I couldn't give her prize to someone else either as submissions have to be made by the person submitting it. Otherwise it would be pretty unfair.

Yep! Well, you'll receive either 10k or 5k depending on what the item is. But yes, you will get the gralats and the item(s).

Unless you submitted an item with recolors, then you'll only get gralats for one of those items, but still receive all the recolors on your account.

Oh yes absolutely! This isn't just a forums event

Just make sure she includes her Graal ID when she submits her item. Might be best if she checked out this thread, even, so she can see all the rules and such. I've added a link to this thread in my status in-game so anyone who doesn't have a graalians account can check it out.

Hey! Can we use graal colours for submissions? E.G, if I wanted to make a Pumpkin item, could I use the colour-pick tool and use the colours straight from the Graal pumpkins or etc?
