I greatly enjoyed Graal in 2004 and I have fond memories of 2006-2008, but I would not want to go back to those times. I've always wanted to help make Classic better, and I believe that by working for Thor is doing that.

I think it'd make things worse since, as people have mentioned, the old Graal is outdated and people would want things that Graal now has to offer. But who knows, maybe with iPhone's good playercount, maybe it'd give old PC Graal a new perspective? There's no solid answer to this. xD Also, this topic made me spawn an idea. The "Golden Age"; what makes a server have a "Golden Age"? Player interest, whether that is in the people they play with, or the gameplay itself improving. Everyone has different interests, especially when playing a game like Graal. Some go toward the tower takers and sparrers, others drift toward the art community, and others just hang out and try a bit of everything. Now, what stimulates a person's interest? Imagination, and options. The two things people love most; being creative and, generally, having many options to choose from. If you can stimulate those, you've got it made. So here's the idea, which I'm pretty sure isn't that new to you, just put in another perspective. Why can't we make a "Golden Age" by giving players more options, from heads or bodies or towers or anything? Because there are limited admins, some may say. But what if players uploaded these heads and bodies for people to buy? What if players submitted their leveling work to LAT admins to edit and finalize if they wanted to? Why not? The idea isn't like "everyone gets to be an admin". It's to invite more players to have an interest in contributing to the game. If more people want to contribute to the game, then, chances are, you're going to have more loyal players. tldr; Majority player interest = "Golden Age" Stimulate imagination + giving players options (in general) = interest more options for players to contribute to the game = interest = "Golden Age" |
