Pixel art app -Sprite Something-
I discovered a nice little app called "Sprite Something" in the App Store for iPad and iPhone/iPod. It is strictly pixel art and it doesnt include anything like anti-aliasing brushes or gradient tools. You can also create sprite frames and animate them all in the app. And you export your images through email. Probably the best pixel art app of the few I've tried. It's definitely better on an iPad obviously for the screen size, but if you're sitting in the car or something with your iphone this app could do the job. Its $4.99, maybe a little expensive, but its a unified app so you can download it on both iPad and iPhone without paying twice. (and no its not on installous) http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sprit...372515745?mt=8 obviously not my best work, just something simple to try it out. ![]() ![]() I dont know if I'd be comfortable trying to do any real work on it but its nice to mess around with or quickly draw out an idea without the hassle of being on a desktop/laptop. |

Neat I rarely do pixel art, but it sounds more comfortable working with a tablet than a computer, so maybe I'll shell out the $$$ and buy it.

Thanks for this! I'm much faster drawing on my device than my laptop, shame it's not on installous.

Art Studio is pretty useful and easy to use once you figure everything out. I use it for edits and messing around. But I'll check this app out too.
