Fossit Gaming Development
I changed the name from Rigid Gaming to Fossit Gaming, if a mod could please change the name of the thread thatd be appreciated. Hey everyone, I've decided to work with the Unity Game Development Engine as of today to start a company called Fossit Gaming and try to make a game. I've been wondering however, how I will accomplish this on my own? I thought for a minute. Hmm, I'm not the best Artist so, scratch myself working as a GAT off my agenda. Also, I am okay at Levels, but still not amazing. Now, with all of this coming together I decided that I should recruit a team to try and make a game! This game will start out on the iOS for awhile, free. Possibly with in app purchases, then we will strive to create a paid game, but this game will be amazing and people will get their money's worth. Then once we get a bit more that $1500 we are ready to proceed to the final stand. The 3D MMORPG Shooting game for Mac & PC. This will be a big break in the industry of games, I notice this has been done before. But, my version will be more "Graalish" then the competitors such as COD, and BF3. As you will be in 1 world, but there will be multiple game servers, same map (just different server). I was also thinking of implanting sparring but calling it something different. I have much planned I just need help releasing it. I am also VERY new to the Unity Game Developing Engine, I don't really know the first step. I am watching a tutorial on how to do this Engine so it may take some time. I am hiring: 2 LAT 2 GAT (Graphics) 1 Animation (This might not be hiring now) To apply shoot me a forum PM with your information! For LAT send me some levels you made, these could be through Graal as of now, as I want to see your creativity if you are not familiar with Unity. As for GAT send me a forum PM with some high-end graphics you made, now remember you are trying out for an iOS app so you need to be professional. If you want to apply for Animation, just shoot me a forum PM. There is no need for any material in becoming Animation. I will be gone until Wednesday, I'll decide the team then. Also applications make sure you go to http://unity3d.com/ in order to look in to this amazing software, I believe it is up there on the top charts. I am also using the free version as of now, as I can't afford pro yet as its 1.5k irl o.o. Now, why don't you go ahead and download the client, the free one. Not the 30 day pro free trial. Infinity Blade and Infinity Blade 2 are powered through Unity if you're wondering what Unity can handle, plus much more. Thank you, Toad

Depending on the type of games you're making, you may need other types of staff. For example, if you're making an MMO with a decent plot, you'll need a decent writer, and someone doing music is always helpful. If you need either of those, I'd be glad to be a staff member.

I hope you've got a game plan and everything since this sounds like abigail project! It doesn't really spark my interest, but I'd like to say good luck "with it anyway. If you could, I'd be interested in reading updates and progress reports if you've got time to post them.

Infinity blade uses the unreal engine, not the unity engine. either way unity is a great engine and a lot of large companies like gameloft and crescent moon games use it.

Gameloft doesn't use Unity, it uses it's own engine developed in-house.

Thank you for the interest!!! I will soon make a site with a changelog and updates. Our first game will be for Android as I am assuming its free. Once we raise enough money I'll buy an Apple Dev acct and put it on Apple. It will be Galica, that you can build towers on, buy new towers and Team up in wave after waves of mobs to kill. Collecting space dust little by little to buy new contracts for more towers. I am excited for this.

My suggestion to you is before you even start doing any of the computer work such as making graphics and levels, you sit down and do a lot of writing. Think about what you want in a game, and just map out ideas from there before actually working on the game itself. Best of luck to you!
