Feedback needed for my wooden skateboard ramp!
I need some help getting the shape and perspective right. Ignore the colours and stuff, its just for illustrative purposes. I'm mostly concerned about the parts that make it 3D, like the in line of the ramp bit (second line of the middle part). Feedback/opinions? |

It looks rather nice. I think if you gave it the wooden texture and added a player model real quick you would see it in the right perspective. Keep up the good work.

I will add the wooden texture, I might add some graffiti to give it that skate park vibe. Thanks.

That bit on the side, like, the bit that shows that it is 3D, should, I feel, be bigger. That's one mighty thin skate ramp.

I don't like it, I'm not sure what it is about it, color, texture? But since you said not to comment on those I won't, I think it is that 3-D affect on the side, try thickening it, or maybe try removing it. I don't know.

Hello again. Here's what I've done thanks to your suggestions. I'll add more to it and post the update later, I just wanted you to see a drawing through the stages. |

Perspective is off. That's probably the first thing you should fix.

Well, depends how you are looking at it. Since (this is what I'm assuming) we are looking at it straight on at its side, you use the same curve for the back part of the ramp. Simply meaning, copy the curve and outlines at the very front edges and lenthen it out exactly. Don't shrink or alter anything from the sides since this is purely a forward view from the side...Would you like an example?

The size is irrelevant. I know what you mean about the shape, it cuts off too early. Thanks for the feedback, everyone. Appreciated.
