Your Reaction to Horse Races
As the title implies... What is your reaction when an admin admin broadcasts that they are going to host horse races? I'm just curious is all. ![]() I think horse races are a bit overrated, but that's just my opinion. My Reaction: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_kPeB5ttBj3g/TEmiK1sYaAI/AAAAAAAAAOs/1brzf1-x1xg/s1600/horse.jpg (Unsupported image host) Uh, yea I think I'll pass. |

I have never been to a horse racing event, and have never seen the track or even a screenshot. What's it even like, and why does it require staff to begin?

I don't have any screenshots of the track at the moment, unfortunately. And horse races basically requires one's use of a horse to cross check points throughout the race track. First, second, and third place contestants are awarded a certain amount of gralats. And it requires staff to begin so that they can hand out the prize gralats. The track should be open even when the event is not being hosted, so players can practice imo. |

Yeah, like Talon I've never participated in horse races, but from what I've been told from my guild allies they do them a lot. I have event messages off too so I don't really know.

Want horse races? Just make you own track in you guild house and invite everyone, the prize is your farm.... We don't need admins to do this for us, plus, people could get more creative with their own.

I honestly don't like them, I think it is way too cluttered and loaded with players, and I usually have Blocker problems when I try going there.

I've done horse racing a few times; the only real complaint I have about this is that it is easy to skip a checkpoint, which means you have to backtrack and clear the checkpoint before you proceed. It would be cool if there were flag markers or lines that showed you the checkpoints.

Whenever someone hosts horce races... I freak out and see the event message because it might be something I'm good at, and then I see that it's just the dumbest event known to man http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Jg5wP6wMG3c/T9DVBevrp4I/AAAAAAAABi0/wil9vGLwS1Q/s1600/Are-you-kidding-me.jpg (Unsupported image host) |
