I recently had an idea which would allow you to turn crab shells into gas. (Not car gas, the items bought at Panther International).
Each crab colour could represent each gas type, maybe there could be more gas types too, since there's yellow, and black crab shells to.

So I was thinking, you could have a machine, similar to those at mines. You grab the machine, it shows the crab shells goin' in, out comes gas. The machines could maybe cost 10 or so gralats that way gas isn't free, and the machines could be clearly labelled to show which colour makes which gas. Maybe you could have an amount of gas you'd like to make, but don't want to use all your crab shells. (One crab shell > one gas).

Thoughts?  

Maybe this would work. But if its used, there should be only 1 type of gas, any type of crab shell put in will give you gas. 2 crab shells will equal 1 gallon of gas, and the machine is 25 gralats to use.

Seriously though, if we have crab shells that give us gas, why not shells that give us EC?  

The shop has a sign saying "gas shell shop"
Shell > crab shell.


I had this idea because they're related in colour and name. EC is completely irrelevant.

Yes, but think about it, how the heck do crab shells give gas? Same thing with shells and EC, which was my example/

Okay. How come I stick in some rocks in a machine and then gold is made. Can you explain that? It's the same principle.

Actually its not, considering you get the rocks from a mine, where its actually possible and makes sense to get minerals from. From your point of view, your saying it makes sense and its possible to get car gas from crab shells.  

Not car gas. Posion gas, Confusion gas, and burning gas. Red, Green and blue. And yes, it is the same principle, you dig the crab it, and if you're lucky it drops the shell. The shell is converted into gas of that colour.
You mine a rock, you grab the machine, the rock is converted into a mineral. I cannot get any clearer.

Yes, yes you can.  

It makes no sense though. Think about it. The rocks come from the mine, which gives minerals. If you mined rocks in real life, you would look through them for minerals, as long as it was in a mine. There is no possible way to turn crab shells into poison.
