Note: Update on page 1 - looks like I'm not the only one to be scammed by Angel.

Basically; the other account was already in the house previously, at that exact location. So she went "afk" and signed into the other device so she could take the items within seconds (Hackers don't just walk into your house lol)

Gotta be careful of people using modem tapping also when trading.. God knows why people continue to take these risks when you can be scammed so easily

Realistically, when you're trading with someone you assume to be legit, are you going to sit there taking pictures or just trust the person? lol

Could be a trend following if all scam threads seem to be about that gang no?
You can either be blinded or just consider there could actually be a hint of truth to it.

Thankyou Snake, you've pretty much got it spot on there. Lol.

Hate to break it to you but with no evidence you won't be able to convince too many people.

Listen, all of you are ******ed. (Not really all of you, this is just a line I say to get everyone's attention. If you are offended by this, please fill out the following Hurt Feelings Report and send this over to your local Senator's office.

First of all, this is all dumb. Jeni, as good as your name is, when one takes responsibility of hosting a trade, it means TAKING RESPONSIBILITY.

Therefore, any forseeable and unforseeable situations that occur, it should be in Angel's duty to try the best he (or She?...sheman?) possibly can to prevent the integrity of the trade from going bad.

With that said, because he hosted the trade, it is his fault. However, we are intelligent (hopefully) human beings and learn from our mistakes. So from now on, Angel or whoever needs to find simple strategies to stop this same situation from happening again. But seeing as how it ALREADY has happened again, from two alleged "victims", Angel has already proven himself to have not taken the initiative to even fix the problem from occuring again.

Whether it be changing the way one hosts trades and breaking this normal but heavily flawed routine, then so be it. Regardless, Angel HAS to take responsibility since he ASSUMED that role.

I agree with what you're saying. Basically what you're saying is; even if he wasn't in on the actual scam, he should take responsibility for it as he was suppose to be hosting a legit, safe trade and it went wrong in his house, no just one occasion, but twice.

True, but I am now at point of 100% certainty that Angel is in on the scams.

Kiko 02-04-2013 07:15 PM

that really sucks.

Jeni<3 02-04-2013 07:16 PM

He told me he wasn't there...I have no proof and no reason not to believe him. I stopped trading for a reason and am inactive, none of this is my issue at all. Trade at your own risk, everyone knows that. With that said, I do feel for anyone who gets scammed, I know it sucks but unfortunately is a part of the game.

Lol, 'he wasn't there'? Tell him to think of something smarter to try and get out of it. How can he have not been in his own house? Really is clutching at straws now.. Anyway, if you want to tell yourself that this isn't true, then fair enough, go ahead. As I've said before, I've done my bit in warning everyone to not make the same mistake I did, if it happens to anyone else then more fool them. Can't say I didn't warn them.

Are Admins able to host trades if they wanted to?

Apparently not, which is a shame, but I understand why.
