Considering its called a 'GUILD' House I don't think it should be.

What about a 'message sounds only' option... I want to hear when some one messages me, but not the sword swinging, death, horse riding, pogo sound, and all the other noise pollution...

^agreed, been discussed before. I to wish it could be open to the public. I like that there is so much more room which means more stuff you can do with it than the regular player house. All the more reason for a 3rd house type like mansion,ranch,villa,or maybe chateau.

Idk if players would go for it,but maybe as a trade off it would just be a giant house with out grass or bushes to cut or "farm".

^yes. Some toggle-able sound effect options would be spectacular. The boingy bouncy noises get annoying,and I could do with out a few others but don't want to shut down the sound completely so I know when I get a message.

On a side note: anybody else find it kind of weird that somethings that should make noise don't? Like some of the mounts that could make a specific noise don't. Would be cool if the blob or rare boss baddies made noises after they spawn until they get pkd.

Graal doesn't have the capacity(at least script-wise) to tune out sounds. Most sounds are played from the ganis, and such the client itself decides to play the sound when the ganis are played. They're not generated via any sort of script, so I can't tell it NOT to play a sound. Trust me, I really, really hate the sound of the water splashing and actually took measures to make it a little less annoying(slowing the pace of it while swimming, turning its effect down a bit).

Would it be possible to mute all effects and then have the message sound be played 'double'...? Is there a trigger that a secondary message sound could be attached to?

The disabled music option literally disables the sfx output, so you can't mute sounds but also force a specific one through. However I can possibly pitch the idea of forcing sounds through past the option to Stefan if I see him(and remember).

Also, the sound you get for notifications is horrible(it should not share a sound with any other in-game events as that defeats its purpose as being a clear notifcation), and if it hasn't been changed yet then it's likely not changed for some reason. Stefan is weird when it comes to certain things, and doesn't like them being changed.

I'm a little confused on what you mean there. Do you mean there should be different sounds for say like a normal pm or gc message then there is for a global notification sent out by admins? because that would be super a long with a different little colored icon,box,bubble showing you have a global admin broadcast message. Not that we need it much since there are barely any events these days. Do to a crappy server,and high lag causing player count.

I mean sounds for notifications should not share the same sounds from the game(like the chest sound being the sound played for PMs). It's not unique, so it serves as a poor way to actually notify you.

Because guild homes are only open to 25 people, and other wise they would just Mansions.
I honestly don't know anyone who uses a guild home for "parties" or whatever.
