I've tested it against a lot of people including you. I don't know how long ago it was, but using excessive amount of delay, I was able to streak off of you pretty easily. The matches were boring and long, but I barely had to try to even win.

There is a difference

When the person knows how to take advantage of their delay, it's makes all the difference.

Just sparred david more than 8-10 matches, he won once or twice by 0.5-1hp

One of them was early, and the other one was when I dropped to 400ms.

Basically the higher you go, the tougher you are to beat. Even if you only add 70-80ms to what you should be, you have a slightly higher advantage.

By far, david is one of the toughest people to fight against with delay, most of my matches were won by 1hp. Without delay, I have to try and react very fast in order to win. With delay, it's just swing early, and much easier. The only thing I hate about it, is that the matches are boring and long.  

And what about the people who are telling the truth about why they are lagging and actually do have multiple people on the wifi? They shouldn't be punished and even banned for "vpning" because you said if you lag=you VPN? Also lots of vpners don't even warp, if your vpning to America and have delay chances are there not even warping, that noobisha girl doesn't even warp and we all know she vpns. So warp doesn't = VPN and people shouldn't be accused of VPN because multiple people are on the wifi.  

I'd say you have a point if I wasn't pretty bad in long spars in general (not because it's gives someone an insane advantage). Some peoples spar style compliments it greatly but that doesn't give an extreme competitive advantage. You turned it off for about 3/9 matches and ya I was able to win easier because I generally like to juke and play reactively instead of proactively, then won 1 with it on. I'd say spar someone who doesn't seem to have much trouble with it, would be more accurate of a measure of how much better someone gets.

Either way, I enjoy sparring anything that forces me to adapt and learn.

I didn't say that lag = vpn, I said it was a method that's being used. That if you have delay, but are warping, then you are forcing more ms. Like I said, if you live in the US, and are delaying, then that's a clear sign of forced delay.

You can have a very small amount of delay, and those don't cause warp, so those one's are hard to tell. The only advice I can give is to just be as low as you can.

I've had issues as well, and it's frustrating to want to spar, but your family is using the wifi. It's especially annoying when you aren't using a wired connection.

Only lowered it to 80ms, you won that by 1.5hp, and 400ms you won that by 0.5-1hp, you won that. The higher I went, the easier it was. I barely tried, that's how easy delay is. Especially when you have a lot.

In conclusion, staff should check other players' countries, check the average ms. Try to find anyone around the same ms as the person who they think is cheating. If they can't find someone with similar average ms, then just give them a warning.

The fact that everyone wants to force lag and delay now, because "everyone is doing it", just shows that staff need to implement new rules.

"Forcing delay" is a cover-up word for vpn. I'm sure everyone knew when you said forcing delay, you meant vpn. Check your opening message to the thread, in one of your spoilers you clearly said "when your delaying cleanly and have warp, then your forcing delay, (basically saying you VPN) plain and simple"

Vpn is one of the methods that I listed. I listed it as a way to easily spot vpners, their flags switch a lot. Does not say "you delay, you only use vpn"

But saying that you are warping means your using a program to force delay/lag is wrong. Also since people who we do know that VPN, don't even warp.

Lagging excessively, means that you are disrupting your connection. Could be on purpose, could probably not be. Never said that warping = vpn. I said if you are delaying, and warping, then it could be due to the fact that you are forcing delay. When your ms gets around 100+ more than what you normally should be running at, then you start skipping a little, the higher your ms is, the more warp you will have.

If you keep your ms low, then you shouldn't be warping consistently. On iOS, which is especially, since it's optimized better than PC, it's a lot easier to keep your ms low, even if your family is using wifi. I don't know how to use a vpn, so I can't really say that using a vpn will make you warp or anything. All I know, is that it shows, when you are constantly changing flags. As for the other methods, you can range from forcing a little between a lot of delay, the higher you go, the more you skip, and the more noticeable it is.

No idea what you mean in your last sentence of your quote, I've never said "you delay you only use VPN" if anything I'd argue agaisnt that so..???? Flag switching is the best way to spot a VPN, Americans with 150-250ms delay is also another good way to spot VPN. But saying that you are warping means your using a program to force delay/lag is wrong. Also since people who we do know that VPN, don't even warp.

If you don't want to accept it, that's fine. No one is forcing you to like my statements. They still remain true whether you like them or not.

Also, I like how it's supossedly bull, when you have used a vpn before, and you like to call me some sort of hacker when I destroy you in gs at belle.

I wasn't going to delete that.

I didn't say alex has used a vpn. I already stated so many times, staff have to check other people in that country's ping. If they find enough people similar, then it's most likely lag. If not, "how is this person the only one with this amount of ping?" They give the person a warning, and if they continue to have super high ping way above everyone else, then yeah.
