yes, save the hat img as an 8-bit, then put that image into the same folder that you have you level saved. Then you can add it onto an npc.

player.attr[1] = "hat1.png";

This should work I guess.

He was asking for the script not the GFX xD but Ty too tho  

that code is gs2, if you want to test it out in level editor you nee to use a gs1 code, if you do not know the code then message me ongraalians and i'll send you the entire npc code

He doesn't need the entire NPC, he can simple choose one from the other side and set it, no need for a whole script.  

im saying IF he needs it....

That won't work. That's setting the hat for a player, and the NPC isn't a player.
Using this.attr[1] = "hat1.png"; is the correct method.

Just remember that player. refers to a player and this. refers to the NPC.

I think that's a GS1 command since I've never seen it used in GS2 at all.
