There are no synthesizers sold to make dubstep. Synthesizers are used to make any kind of music. But the user needs to know what he's doing. I could make dubstep on Mario Paint if need be, because I'm talented. But most people can't make dubstep on the most expensive DAW with the most expensive plugins.

WORKING ON A MIXTAPE WITH MY COUSIN, PEEP THE BEATS IN MY SIGNATURE! Not techno though... I use some techno elements.  

Most programs used by professionals are kept a secret and hidden from the public.  

I've heard FL Studio is great for Dubstep production if you know how to use it.

Open FL studio and mess around with it for a few minutes, theres a wide variety of sounds you can make

Theres a local DJ in my city called Uberjak'd, he has some of the sickest mixes ive heard.

Was in town the other night and he was on the decks, sounded heaps good.

Ahh I don't really appreciate DJs who just use Virtual DJ and sync tempos... I djed at a party the other day and my mix (which I let her keep) had like my own tracks and like transitions and even vocals at points... I know it consisted of house, then pop dance songs like by Usher, Nicki Minaj, then the dubstep transitioned in very nicely. People went crazy.
