Umm... I honestly don't know where to start... I guess first, who cares if there is lag it doesn't last forever. Second, if somthing is new how will we know? We'd just be randomly searching everyday for something new. Third, if someone discovers it and pms their friends and they pm their friends there will be lag anyways. Lastly, this isn't going to happen this is a pointless thread.

Not everyone wants to "discover" things like you said. If you really want to, just ignore the news messages.  

I agree with the above two posts. If we don't announce it, how will you ever know it's there?

Let's assume we don't announce anything.
Random player X finds some new thing and gets a hat (lets say). Player X tells Player Y. Player Y gets it as well, and tells Players 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 - who all do the same thing. However, they fail to tell anyone else and when we remove the limited edition thing, a bunch of people start to complain because we didn't announce it.

No fun.  

hmmm... i wonder.. Not announce it and have people cry, or announce it and everyone is happy (well mostly)..

Pretty much. It's exploration when you first start the game when you explore the maps and buildings, but after that it's more of a social kind of game than exploration.

That's how RPS worked; people can't keep things to themselves.  

The only thing to explore is the new cave. So really, it's not about exploration.  

Exactly, lol if there is a hat involved it will spread like wildfire, people might know but I can see az's point. Even though perhaps they new they would pretend not to know to be a pain in the but.  

Yeah. Its interesting how fast stuff spreads in graal, even without news. For example, when azrael was in snowtown, it just took one person to go to graal city and say so, and soon almost everyone was there.
