Extreme Deep Field (Hubble telescope)
I thought I should share this because its amazing. This is the deepest view of the universe to date, courtesy of the hubble telescope. The eXtreme Deep Field, or XDF, as the photo's called, shows about 5,500 galaxies that are considered the oldest known to humanity. Check it out! http://imgsrc.hubblesite.org/hu/db/images/hs-2012-37-a-full_jpg.jpg (Unsupported image host) A comparison to show just how deep this photo is: http://imgsrc.hubblesite.org/hu/db/images/hs-2012-37-c-web_print.jpg (Unsupported image host) SOURCE: http://hubblesite.org/newscenter/arc...eases/2012/37/ |
