Okay, first off, I don't watch this. However, I hear about it so much that I'm very interested in checking out... the problem is however that it's like 25 seasons. I have not the time nor interest to start from the beginning. I want to get into the more recent seasons. However, from a fan or anyone who just happens to watch the show... can I get a suggestion on what season to start on?  

You can start at any one of them, there's some things that carry over but they always kill off the actor that plays the doctor at the end of the series. So you can pretty much start from wherever. however I would skip all the seasons and just go to series one, to series 5 I think it is, after that doctor who just isn't the same but it's still an okay watch  

I suggest the one with mark tenant or whatever. The doctor in the episode "the weeping angels" one of my favorite episodes

That in particular is the one I want to see.  

I prefer the season with Matt Smith. He plays best for Doctor Who. David Tenant aswell but if you're new to the series, i recommend Matt Smith's season. I forgot what season it is though  

Tenant had a huge following , the weeping angels was a good one . but i still prefer baker from the old ones .

No the gas mask one that was the worst. But Christopher eccleston wasn't the best actor he definitely had the scariest episodes

Note: my friend is reliable because she obsessively watches Doctor Who all the time and is obsessed with The Doctor. She's seen all the episodes, too.  

To be honest, I thought David Tenant was the best Doctor.
Matt Smith's pretty funny though, but still, there was something about Tenant's sharp suit and hair-do that I just loved.

That's the first result Netflix shows, I will do that... and this is the one with the Weeping Angels?  

Watched the first two episodes(with the 9th doctor). Plan to keep watching it... but I can't say it looks like a show that was made in 2005.  

Screw it, went ahead and skipped to "Blink." Now that was a good episode.  

I tried watching this recently based on a million recommendations. I started at the very beginning because that only seemed prudent, but it really wasn't up my alley. If the show changes in other seasons (by a LOT), let me know which are unlike the beginning of season one. I really cannot watch that xD

Start from series 9, It changed ALOT because of of the giant gap (Like 10 years) between the 8th and 9th episode. After that they get better.
