Graal was originally named Zelda Online, then was later converted to Graal online, while the name changed, most of the graphics and tilesets did not. they had to later be changed due to copyright infrindgment. like it or not dusty couldn't be more correct. If I was going to create a player world, I could no matter whatever cercomstances, i could NOT upload a pikachu hat, mario hat(etc). I could however upload a bomb that looks exactly like the bombs from Zelda. I could also make it so all the GANIs are exact copies of zelda. Nintendo cant copyright those types of things. |

I suppose if you wanted to see the levels with that tileset, you could always grab the old tileset, do some editing and add that to the iDevice directory and play the server with that, although I don't know if that's allowed and wouldn't support the newer tile additions unless you copied and pasted the tiles from the classic iPhone pics1.png. And that would be going against Graals rules. You can't steal tiles, so I guess, you are going to have to be happy with the original tileset mate.

You can make a Pikachu hat! If you're not making money out of the Pikachu hat, then you can give it away on Graal Classic. If however you are making money out of the Pikachu hat, you're copyrighting, using the license from another game/company to make a cash-in. No matter how much times you try to defend it, everyone in this forum can pretty much tell that the graphics did not change much really and that the entire game is one giant Zelda clone online game. The game is an entire copyright. No one pretty much tells it to Nintendo because they're addicted to this sh*t.. |

Again, you can not copyright gameplay, or style. Copyright deals with details, such as the raw image, the layout of the pixels that create the image... not "it kind of looks sort of the same, if you turn your head this way, so it is copyright infringement!" Every single post of yours that I have read is just you rambling about made up things in your head, about how you think the copyright system works. And it's all wrong. You don't even seem to have a vague idea about how copyrighting works, so you fill in the blanks with how you think they should work. Seriously, can you at least give examples of where it's illegal to make a game that plays like Zelda? I mean it's not as though I didn't already post a few examples of games doing exactly the things you said it's illegal for Graal to do. |

It's not illegal if something sorta resembles something. |

Edit: I take back the insults and lemme explain in detail
Copyrighting is allowed if the clone doesn't make a fortune out of it... Linken in World of Warcraft happens to be an NPC in-game (Not purchasing content) so thats allowed... Because they're not making money out of Linken... If you go sell a pikachu hat in graal, thats copyright because you don't have permission of the original owner of the license... You can't steal licensed games/properties and intend to make a huge fortune out of it... Thats what Graal Classic is dealing with... You can pretty much see how Graal Era changed a whole lot... It doesn't look like as its a zelda clone anymore... Graal Classic hasn't been given the full paintjob just yet... As if half of the world still looks like Zelda Online... UnixMad just wants to make it look different so he can continue to cash in while having to avoid complains of how its copyright.. Take a look at the video i posted earlier... You'll see what i mean |

A game resembling another is not copyright infringement. What the **** is so hard about understanding this? |
