Why are we talking about gods when this is a scientific discussion. Could we please discuss these things nicely without bringing religion into the debate?

The thing i'd like to add is the theory of different dimensions within our plane of existence. It seems interesting to me that there could be multiple exact copies of our universe, which are temporally and spacially connected to each other, which we have only to theorize about and call them different dimensions. What i ask is: do you guys believe that there are these different "dimensions"? Is there actually evidence of wormholes connecting these? And if you do, what would life be like in those new versions of the universe?  

Its possible that this entire world is a creation of my mind.  

Its possible that the world is a giant game of the sims.

First off, this is not the same thread as the one that has the title, "I challenge anyone to prove that god is or isn't real". That thread is based on the concept of questioning religion, this thread is based on the concept of questioning the scientific process.

I want to get it out there that this is not a thread where we debate about religion for pages upon pages, this is designed to be a thread that simply debates about how the scientific theories that we use today work. There should be no pseudoscience in this thread. I bet we all can learn a lot from each other if we can keep up a rational, formal debate!

Anyways, I am very bored at this point in my Christmas break, and I want somebody to try to prove that the current scientific theories are not a reliable way to explain how we got here today. In that sense, I want somebody to come up with the most legitimate argument they can against widely accepted theories such as the big bang, natural selection/evolution, and the like.

Every time someone tries to disprove these theories to me they always come up with extremely simple pseudoscience answers that have been said over and over again, such as "Evolution does not follow the law of thermodynamics, How could something come from nothing in the big bang, the theory of gravity requires as much faith as god"

Could someone please try to form a more legitimate argument? I'm down to debate with you! (If you want to know the answers to the questions I already stated, I will be glad to explain them in depth.)

I think there are different dimensions. However, I think you're confusing dimensions with parallel universes. Dimensions exist with us; Parallel Universes beside us.

I've heard alot about "shadow people" recently. I'm starting to believe in dimensions a bit, especially due to my sensiivity to my surroundings. I can tell when something isn't right or feels strange.

When it comes to Parallel Universes, they say the number of them goes on into infinity. Every choice we make we could have done differently, and the countless number of earths that exist out there represent different courses of action and their consequences...

So I'd say I'd imagine a parallel universe the same as ours, except instead or typing right now I could be eating, sleeping or dead.
