Earlier I was checking new posts on the forums and I came across a thread about guild hats etc.. One of the posts stated that they should replace 5k hats with something better so people don't cut off guilds at 1k. Since the noobs dream is to have a guild hat, and all they do tower guilds for is the guild hat, make the guild hat list for 5k unlimited so that people won't keep doing small 1k guilds and the noob achieves his goal. Also, from what I've seen guild hats are what keeps the towers going. See if you take away guild hats there will be no point in towers for the newer players. And every time I see someone posting something about taking away guild hats, they already have 4-5.
 

Solution: Remove all hats from game  

Then your removing gst towers and the system of noob tower guilds.  

Towering was actually fun before pulse got their 1k hat. After that it got boring, since everybody just towers for a hat now.  

Or remove the 1k hat.
If a guild needs rewards to tower that is pretty lame to do so.  

Take away all the previous 1k hats, then add in those options that everyone else above posted.  

I still strongly believe first 30 guilds on the leader boards should keep their hat. You'll notice after that it's just hat chasers. I can't see why anyone other than a hat chaser would not support this. I wouldn't even be able to see why new/inexperienced players wouldn't support this, especially if they're the ones on 24/7 day and night then end up not getting the hat in the long run because the leader decided to give it to his buddy who wasn't in the guild to begin with.

Also, I do recall a while back in 2011 I believe when it was rumored that guild hats would've stopped at #20. Unfortunately, that never happened. Neither did the generic item thing. I was really counting on seeing that one, but they never really decided what to use for a replacement.  

No more 1k hats should be allowed. The people that do have hats already can keep one of their choice.  

1k should just be a sign or something that says whatever guild it is. You can hold the sign and show it off and that's about it. 5k stay hat and 10k mount.

They're cluttering the leaderboards, once again make leaderboards top 50 only so guilds that stopped at exactly 1k won't even have to be looked at/remembered.  

Wipe leaderboard>No more 1k hats>Ignore crying kids  

Don't wipe leaderboard, just make it top 50.

Hence part of why I hate obsidian and all their hat monkey guilds. Let's say they finish Getsuga and start another hat monkey guild that gets 1k. If they add all their hours together and put it into one guild, they got 5k. If they had 5k, they would be in the top 10! Who wouldn't want that? These noob hat chasers, of course.

And Geysuga? Was that a typo? Or are you callin them gey?

Don't just blow off what I just said, all making it Top 50 is doing is idolizing hat chasers as there are only 5 guilds in the Top 50 that are actually legitimate guilds. Wipe the leader board so that other new guilds can have a shot.  

wipe out the score board. make the hall of fame for the top 10 and all the other guilds have their hours still. Make it so guilds have to be made brand new to be on the leader boards. Remove all hours under 1k. Start fresh. Remove 1k hats.
