Goten is right. Delayers don't have a disadvantage. Delayers can hit you straight on, while you can't hit them. It would be laggers that are having the disadvantage, because they can get hit 2-5 seconds later. Obviously none of you PCs have played enough on the iDevice server to see the difference between lag & delay. Ask the top iDevice sparrer to vs a lagger. Then have him/her spar a delayer. Maybe he/she can tell us who is right or wrong. Also, stop calling other people ******ed when they don't have a mental disorder. Just because you don't have the same opinion as them, doesn't mean that they are ******ed.

Although it seems as if delayers are hitting you straight on, on their screen they actuallyl aren't. What happens on graal is, if you are lagging, you are constanty sending movements and the server picks them up and re-transmits them at a later time to you. If you are facing a lagger and they hit you, they most likely sent that sword strike a few seconds ago (based on latency). When a delayer is sparring, they're just taking random jabs at air and hope that it hits, as you are as well.

You have no points, and Vatec has done a nice job of taking the words right out of my mouth. I really don't understand why you're completely underanalyzing my posts anyways. Thats why there's really no point in fighting with you. Its like bringing a knife to a gun fight. I have the gun and you're the lunatic with the knife taking random jabs that do nothing.

as thallen said, the poll itself is pretty much a popularity contest. having kevin earn more votes than me after i recently beat him in a series to 10? oh, makes sense, vote for the guy with the most spar wins.

arguing over laggers? if they warp/delay to you, you warp/delay to them too. if you lose to them, they are just more used to it than you are. don't cry about it and call them a superhuman, just adapt to their lag. if you suck horribly against laggers, you're just inexperienced and need to spend more time around them, then they won't be a problem.

As for you, like I said before, I'm not going to argue with you. I did my best to explain to you people how latency works, but you just don't understand. Why don't you try sparring with 200+ ms and see how hard it really is.

No, they can't. I like you but you don't know what you're talking about. Stop putting false things into people's minds. It's simply not true. Lag is "mutual" on Graal.

If someone lives in Australia or Asia for example, every single person they spar will delay to them just as much as they delay to you. You can still argue it's an advantage to the delayer, because the delayer knows their own delay and has lots of experience with it.

Either way, still an excuse. Not hard at all to spar delayers, just boring. This thread isn't about spar mechanics or excuses, it's about who the best iDevice sparrer is. But we all knew it'd turn into this.

Not really, if we fight another delayer then we have to predict them *2, and you think it's hard for you?

You say that experience is an advantage, lol you can't go and complain that you lost a spar because they had more experience than you.

Also, you could easily just randomly move somewhere unexpected and voila, you foiled our prediction.
