Just practice gsing alot and try new things you come up with. Eventually, you'll just find out what works best for you from practice.

Just practice,spar everyday or whenever you get the chance to,If you're afraid of losing a lot you can go to master li's and practice there but if you want to advance in your technique or skill I recommend sparring in the Battle Arena only because a lot of skilled sparrers go there and you can learn a thing or two from them.

Manage to hit your opponent at least one more time than they hit you and you will win 100% of your spars.

Working on it. Guild spar hasn't really been troubling for me because I'm more confident taking on people in a group.
