You seriously didn't understand my point, what I was trying to say was the uploaders allowed copyrighted pokemon characters to be uploaded on graal, thats copyrighinfingment nothing to do with us. And you guys blaming on us. It's the up loaders fault. We respect all creations, we try to remove any copyrighted materials that the graal up loaders may have missed. We ACCEPT removal request ( ur lucky) Please read this http://soulslayer-graal.info/disclaimer STOP THE FLAMING

In response to you blaming this on the uploaders. They do not know everything, some may not play pokemon so they haven't the faintest idea on what the uploaded head is from, as far as they know, its original. |

You don't get it do you? It's not the pokemon heads and such that we care about. We are just using those copyright violations and such to get your site taken down. Ive said it once and I'll say it again. Your site has graphics from tons of players, you didn't ask the owners of the graphics for permission to upload it. We don't want our stuff on the site. No one does. Ask people if they want their graphics posted on the site, if they say yes then do it, if not, you can't have it on your site. Your site is a haven for graphic thieves and you take content from players without permission. We asked and asked. You ignored us. You brought this upon yourself. It is your own ignorance that is to blame. To everyone else, keep up the good work, send all evidence of copyright infringement to me in a message do we v |

You guys seem to be missing the point on what that e-mail is asking for. Fan art of heads are not applicable here. Heads that you have made (that you, by default, own the copyrights for) are the only angle you could take this in, but you'd need proof that you created the head. The people that run the site seem more than happy to take the content down upon request though, so I don't think this is going to get very far.

Copyright hinges on the question of ownership of an original piece of work, in this case, graphics. Copyright becomes immediately effective on the creation of the original work, without the creator even registering to protect his work or anything similar. It is already protected by copyright, which means the copyright belongs to the original creator. Because of this, the original creator has the exclusive right to prevent any third party from doing any of the following: - Copying the original piece of work - Present copies of the piece of work to the public - Making an adaption of the original work The one I have highlighted in bold is the one Soulslayer is currently breaching, as he is uploading pieces of copyrighted work onto a public website for others to download and edit further, breaching the copyright even more than it already has been. So, I'm sorry to say Loose Crow, you and your fellow administrators on www.soulslayer-graal.info are indeed breaching copyright, and so you must remove the work. If you want to keep doing this, please find every creator for each artwork you have uploaded and ask for their permission to do so, otherwise, like I said, you're breaching copyright. Also, if you're a little skeptical about the whole "copyright on creation" idea, then just know that GraalOnline owns the images as they have been uploaded onto Graal with the owner's consent (in one way or another), and that they now own them. |
