American hatred towards Muslims? - 5

In my own humble opinion, the community here isn't intelligent or mature enough to discuss a subject as sensitive as this.

In post-9/11 USA I had visited Rhode Island with a friend while we were in elementary school.
We were playing football (soccer) with a few American kids and enjoyed ourselves in a park.
One of them asked us where we're from, we told him.
The other guy then proceeded to ask us if we're Christians, but we said we aren't and explained to him that there's a religion called Islam and its adherents are mainly Arabic people.
The mother who was sitting on a bench overhears us saying that.
She takes the kids by their hands, quietly, and leaves with them.
The kids ask her what's wrong, she doesn't answer.
We sorta start understanding what's actually going on.

At least they forgot their ball and we had something to play with until some Brits turned up and we had a great time.

i was in middle school in dat best state texas when 9/11 happened, i never got **** for it tho. americans confuse persians with mexicans, italians, and whatnot.

no that persians have anything to do with the terrorism/islamic extremist activities in the world, but you know how stereotypes for entire regions work.

on topic: i hope muslim extremists suicide bomb westboro members. kill two birds with one bomb stone

isnt persia also known as IRAN? nothing extremist going on over there (except the entire goverment is based on an extreme islamic revolution and wants to develop nuclear weapons)

yes but if you look at every terrorist suspect, none are iranian. they're all either arab, afghan, or pakistani. the government is corrupt but they also dislike sunni muslims, which pretty much isolates them. north korea wants to develop nuclear weapons but they aren't terrorists now are they? most of the world also has nuclear weapons but they aren't terrorist either now are they?

Boy this thread got out of control quickly too be honest i dont care about what religion,race you are oh and this isnt only just in america. A town called luton in england has been split by radical islam extremeists who thought it would be great too show there 'views' when a battleion of soilders came back too england and racist british people who reacted too this protest by nearly haveing a riot

i would consider North Korea's government and rhetoric to be somewhat terroristic, wouldnt you agree? maybe they dont put bombs on their chests and blow up themselves and others, but they sure due terrorize their own people with starvation, imprisoment if you dont agree with the government, isolation, censorship, while threatening to blow up the US as well...seems terrorisitic to me.
