Dude. There's plenty of threads on a golden blob already, it's real. No big surprise.

Here's what you need to know.

The blob spawns just below that pool in the middle of swamptown. You get rewards (gralats and items) for hitting it. Using a sword is useless as it shakes you around so use bombs and arrows.
