From now on there will be no 24 hour check up for the Xbox 1. Plus the Xbox 1 now supports used games. So you could go to GameStop and buy a used game for the Xbox 1 in the future.

Not really. Piracy isn't a huge issue on consoles. They wanted to stop used trade to force people to buy the games new, thus putting more money in their pockets.
