An iPhone is a phone, android is an OS. Two different things

Correct comparison would be iOS vs Android. I'm for Android. I like it, can have gadgets on home screens instead of a huge list of Apps and you can customise the very launcher to an extreme level. I have a HTC Desire phone and a Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tablet. Can also develop for free on Android without having to pay for the development environment, the right to develop and then the bribe to ensure your app gets through their verification process. I also have an Ipod4 and I laughed so hard when I saw Apple IOS 5 beta took the pull down menu from Android

I like Andriod over iOS. The Andriod is much more customizable. I also don't feel like I'm under the oppressive Apple rule that the iOS offers. I do have an iTouch and iPad ver. 1. They're great and all, but my Andriod phone is so lovely and nice. Much better.

Gee I wonder what a mostly iClassic/iEra based community will answer. I only prefer the iPhone because I'm more familiar with it. Pretty sure i'd love Android more if I actually owned one powered by it. |

Im with iPhone all the way. Great processor and most of the time no lag which is the main thing that spoils an android for me.

What I find funny is people always say "wow my Android phone is SO much more powerful than your iPhone". What they fail to realize is the iPhone 4 has been out since June 2010, and it WAS the best. These new Android phones are a mere few months old. Of COURSE they'll be better. Wait for the iPhone 5. Don't think the largest corporation in the world is going to let their phone that pretty much invented the smartphone be behind its competitors.

I'd prefer the Android over the iOS. The Android is much more faster and smoother while having more programs on it. An iOS device is what i think to be the same repetition over and over again after each new iOS release. While on the other hand, Android comes out with new software and features to improve quality. The iOS device comes out with those too, but not close in comparison to the Android (my opinion).. Now then i like the IOS because the variety of apps.

You're asking this on an iPhone based-platform game forum. Very fair

I prefer Android. I find it much faster to jump between tasks, and it feels like it's been fairly well thought out for the most part. I had an iPhone previously and it felt like it just had so many obvious omissions, and I grew to hate Apple's iTunes store dictatorship and how god damn difficult it was to even just transfer basic things like contacts and files without connecting it to a computer. Android at least doesn't require a USB relationship with a computer in order to function properly.
