I'm sure we have all had times when we seen an item during a holiday period or Nexus/revolution weekend and we just weren't able to scrape together enough gralats in time to buy the item we wanted.

So I was thinking they could create a new store or use a pre-existing store and for example when the weekend is over and nexus is closed the items that where for sale get moved to that shop for a week or two.
That way you would have more time to get enough gralats to buy the item. Maybe they could slightly raise the price of the item just to even it out.

Another idea I had was when the nexus/revolution/holiday ends to move one of the hats at random to the swamp flea market and sell it for a slightly reduced price. But keep it random so nobody knows which hat it will be. That way they just cant wait for it and get it cheaper. If they for sure want to get the hat they want they would have to pay full price and get it in the time frame. When the next limited time event comes up they would just rotate out the hat from the last event and add the current event hat at random.  

nahhhh.  

Some items are intentionally sold for a brief amount of time to make it rare. It provides more income since some players never really know when it's going, so they don't want to take a chance saving up. If we were to have a "second chance" store, why not just sell the item longer?

Then no one is going to buy the hats at full price. Everyone would just wait until a hat they like is sold there. Also, it wouldn't be fair to the ones who forked over five bucks to later see it sold half priced.

Ya... theres a reason for discontinuing hats after awhile. If every hat were availible forever, no hats would be rare or special  

Isn't Nexus already a store like this?

Nexus doesn't only sell Nexus-exclusives. It also sells old content for a discounted price.  

What if you miss the event and the Second Chance store? I think we need a Third Chance store! And a fourth in case you miss those too!!!!!!!!!!1!!!!!1!!!!!!!!!?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !

I think the creators of the items or hats in question also deserve a say.  

I prefer how it is, I think the rarity is nice.  

If they open a second chance store no one will buy items at the ''normal shops'' Everybody would wait until they release the items in the second chance store to get them cheaper.  

Did you all miss the part that says its just 1 item at random. Not all of the items so you will never know which item it will be. So ppl wouldn't be able to wait and buy it for cheaper.

Sounds like you're implying an entire store be moved.  

Yes but I wasn't trying to say move all the items and put them on sale then nobody would buy them during the weekend event. I did say if they moved all the items that they should raise the price to help even it out. Maybe it would be better if they held it open longer say till tuesday morning US time.
