Thinking about getting the Zelda 3DS XL for $200 and then Y on top of that

can someone tell me if I'm able to download the LoZ game onto a different 3DS? The console comes with a free download, not a cartridge

I'm also debating whether to use the money I got from selling my 3DS for either a new 3DS+Pokemon Y or a new set of headphones, since a bunch of people unintentionally pulled me back into audiophilia.

The last Pokemon game I got into was Pokemon Diamond. I haven't played any since. This, however, seems to be a lot different from the casual Pokemon game. I may not like the new Pokemon, but they did keep a lot of the old ones I love. **** it I have to buy this now.

It's probably tied to the console like the rest of the eShop.

Games aren't tied to a console. There just isn't a unified account system yet, so you have to do a system transfer to get your games over to a new system. Which is incredibly easy. I transferred all my OG 3DS data to my 3DS XL in less than an hour. The only problem is that if you lose/break your 3DS before you can transfer the data you're screwed. I guess that is a big problem though.

They really do a good job for the old fans playing since red and blue. Like the kanto starters, a free lapras that actually shows its sprite when you surf on it, and 4 out of the 6 legendaries in this game are from Kanto lol. Not to mention all the old Pokemon look fantastic in 3D.

The roaming legendaries of Kalos are the three legendary birds from Kanto.

Also I did some research about this. Apparently depending on which starter you pick will depend on the legendary bird you see in the wild. I chose Froakie and I encounter only Moltres. From what I've read, you must encounter the bird 12 times in the wild, then that bird will appear at that sea den place in which you can battle or catch him without him fleeing. But yeah... Finding the bird 12 times will be a pain since they switch locations a lot as you fly to where there at. If you don't care for your kalos starter base who you choose off this. Froakie=Moltres, Chespin=Articuno, and Fennekin=Zaptos.
