Doing an offline version of Graal would actually be GREAT. Graal itself is an amazing game engine, but always tailoring to an online playstyle increases difficulty tenfold.

I'd make some fun **** for an offline "game" of Graal.

I think for any new Graal server to sustain with the same model that old Graal Classic and Graal the Adventure had would require a vastly larger overworld than anyone on Graal has ever put together. For a game with 2000 people playing it, you must admit that iClassic's overworld is very small.

And yet most of the playerbase still congregates in Graal City and many areas (including Belle, Snowtown, and York Town) are almost 100% barren all the time. It isn't size that's the issue here.

Yes, that's obvious, but I'm putting this into perspective against Graal the Adventure (which seems to claim it'll have much more to do than iClassic). A server of that size (if they're using the old GtA map) with many quests will look like a cluttered mess and the quests will probably be very difficult to complete.  

I just wanted to use this as an opportunity to thank those who have helped the cause thus far. Unfortunately with the way things have gone in the past I can't promise there's a significant chance anything will arise from this, but it could well be a necessary step for there to be any chance at all.

With regards to the matter of whether such a move would be right or wrong, I can see arguments for and against but I don't think debating it will have any effect. A fun fact of the day however would be that Stefan actually suggested Graal the Adventure as a Facebook server when enquiring about the Trading Card Game in 2011, but typically kept changing the subject any time myself or WhiteDragon asked about test access.

Never played GTA, but I heard you can steal cars.
All jokes aside, this is great. I feel like this should be a petition, or even a kickstarter. Graal Classic seemed good, but now that I look back on it, I did nothing. I have heard. Of all the things, and I just want to see GTA's final thing.

The community is worse then iEra, IMO.  

If this became a realistic possibility which I hope it does I'd jump on to it in a heartbeat and drag everyone i could along with me. I really hope this does make it as a Facebook server too much time and effort has gone into making GTA great it would be a disgrace for it to be a waste.  

Notice he called it "graal the adventure" and not "graal classic". The whole "wtf 2 classics" argument isn't really valid in this scenario other than that they use a similar tileset and combat. Knowing Stefan though, chances are he's just gonna ask to take parts of your server and throw them onto Classic iPhone.

Anyways, Graal classic puts more emphasis on social content, customization, and simple stuff whereas Graal the Adventure would have far more complex quests and story.  

I think Graal the Adventure could work as a single player companion game to iClassic. But as a multiplayer game it wouldn't finde a niche like classic and era had because to the average player it's just too similar to iClassic.  

I have one idea. Like, just throwing this out there, delete Classic and replace it with this?
I don't know..  

I'm not saying this is a bad idea, but it's unlikely that it'll happen. Instead of doing this, why don't we try to popularize Reborn?

That's ridiculous! Have you ever played it by yourself? It's boring as hell without friends.

I'm not saying this is a bad idea, but it's unlikely that it'll happen.

Although we have not received an actual response after nearly 2 months, it's safe to say it's not going to happen.

Within private conversations to others Stefan has displayed signs of bitterness, and has even gone as far to suggest that he's removing the Era PC server, which having been one of the most successful PC servers for around 7/8 years doesn't bode well for GTA despite its key differences.

As much as I would like to see the said organisation obtain the part of Graal's business which its owners arguably do not deserve, the one person capable of creating the software necessary to rival modern server development opted for an entirely new client with its own language, as opposed to creating an NPC-Server which works in tandem with the cracked V6 client and deciphered bytecode.

While a new client would have its advantages should it ever be completed, the main disadvantage is that it's a much more difficult and time-consuming process, and unlike the long development of GTA which shared a similar choice, you cannot experience the work in progress yourself.

It seems to have been forgotten that Quests aren't the only thing offered by GTA. Some of the events and their supporting systems are quite nifty, but ofcourse needed a reliable supply of players to properly be enjoyed. The trading card game didn't have the overall effect I had hoped it would, though it was a lot of fun on the few occasions where a large crowd would gather and rotate games among eachother.  

Lets make this..
If your bored as hell without your friends or You want to finish this quest ALONE..
Rather make 2 servers with the same contents...
1st one is the Single Player Server where you and only you can play inside it.. No one will bother you there..
2nd one is the Multiplayer Server where you can meet your friends and do quest with each other...
Think of this.. If this would happen, people will go here even all the players in other servers will see this and I would really love to play this (even im stuck in bat quest)
