Apparently this is an alleged leaked screen from CoD Ghosts. New mod called Extinction. Looks epic. Reminds me of Lost Planet.
Its possible this is a replacement for Zombies mode, since Zombies are only in Treyarch Cods and not Infinity ward.

Killing giant bugs or monsters is nothing original or innovative but if it captures the same fun factor of Zombies then I'll buy the game just for this mode like I've done for BO Zombies.

If that is like a new mode I hope they introduce a trailer to it so then it would hype more people for the game.  

That would be quite interesting. This actually might have me interested enough to buy the game if the mode checks out to be fun.

they probably will before release, not too far off.

It's possible this could just be like a bonus mission at the end of the game or something though which would suck. Also possible it may be a DLC mode.
But "Extinction" (mode) on "Point of Contact" (map) "syncing game settings" makes it seem pretty likely as a new mode.  

Could be something similar to Halo's Infection.

What if Extinction was the Map and Point of Contact was the mode? Extinction with that background could mean you are fighting on a Area 11 map maybe and Point on Contact could mean the aliens in which you guys are in contact with (battling it out)

I forget if the map names are in huge letters and game modes in small letters  

I think sincce its IW they'll probably do the same as MW3 and do mode first in big and map in small

Ghosts is a new series so who knows, but this seems more likely.  

This is not surprising, IW is always needing to compete with the success of Zombies, without doing zombies.
