Classic's tutorial/map system is outdated
With the significant amount of changes GraalOnline Classic has gone through, i think you should start fixing/adding to the current tutorial and map system. One primary example of what should be added is learning the new Alignment Point (AP) system. It is not explained clearly throughout the entire game except when you read up the past news update when it was added to the game. A beginner would start killing players and not knowing that he can't heal because he killed too much to a point where it is considered "Bad". He also wouldn't know why players can't hit him with swords and why his AP decreases if he killed someone in the game. Another primary example is marking tools/activities you can explore throughout the game. Like they did with furniture shops, there would be tool-based quests and activity places (CTF, Archery, Spar Arena, etc.) pinpointed on the map so it makes it easy for the new player to find that location. These are some examples i had in mind for the new players to get a much easier grip on the game without feeling clueless. The Tutorial/Map system feels pretty much outdated at this point and i think some change would be nice to benefit new players. As always, the pinpointing can be toggled on/off at any time in the options menu. |

This game's pretty simple, and I realized that the fun part about this game was discovering all of its components and such.

Discovering how AP works is not fun though.

I agree it could use an overhaul. I have also seen noobs sit mostly idle around graal city not killing and becoming saints then wonder around the map not realizing that they are saints or what ap even is. My favorite one was this girl who wanted to join UFO so she could help block a door in a tower not realizing she was a saint and people could just walk right through her lol. Noobs=endless source of entertainment. |

I do think that they should do a tutorial about the AP system... Though they should also make a tutorial on how to kill someone using a sword... Because when you go on balamb and a new player wants to kill you he puts a bombs and wait until it explodes on you, though you are already far away from the bomb when it explodes. |

Somebody could always make a guild for the soul purpose of training and teaching the players new to the game. They could take them around and show them where things are,how to get the items needed to do certain things or access certain areas, how to spar,or tower, and all the other need to know basics of the game. Idk how hard it would be tho to get volunteers who would be willing to help train noobs. |

1:Go Into The Castle At York Town (I Don't Know What's The Name Of It So I'll Call It Castle Of York Town). 2:Talk To The Guard Leader(Just Go Right Ahead In The Castle Until You See A Guy Next To A Table And Who's Not Moving). 3:Follow What He Says To Do(If You Don't Understand What He Says, He's Just Saying To Go South Of There, And Talk To The Guard Next To The Pyrat Bay. 4:Talk To The Guard That Is Next To Pyrat Bay (He Should Then Have A ! Or A ? Up From His Head). 5:Kill Pyrats And Collect The Eyepatches That They Drop When They Die(They Don't Alway Drop It) By Walking On/Through Them. 6:When You Got 75, Talk To The Guard With The ! Or The ? He'll Give You 1000 Gralats. 7:Wait 24 Hours And Do The Steps 4 to 7 Again. If You Didn't Understand, Pm Me In Game I'll Show You It And I'll Show You The Mod Town Quest That Leads You To The Small Quest For The Flippers And The Goggles When You Finished The Mod Town Quest.
And If You Want More Volunteer, Maybe Make It Easier For Those Volunteer, By Putting, I Don't Know A 2 Player Draisine For A Railroad That Goes Everywhere Around The Map But Who Don't Let People Leave it And If They Do They Get Teleported Back To Balamb. Or, When They Finish The Normal Tutorials, Make Them Go On A Railroad That Goes All Around The Map And Who Gives Information About The Places They Are Actually At But It Would Be Impossible To Just Like Go In Another City With That Railroad(Put Those Hills That We Can't Jump Off Next To The Railroad So They Don't Actually Just Go In Places Like Snow Without The Draisine), Though If Every Players Can Take It Make It Non-Pk Area Around Those Railroads Or Pkers Will Just Go There And Kill Everyone >_< |
