Well warn people that it's a novelty weapon. No novelty weapon should cost 30k without some kind of warning  

ZERA was something we made a joke of when gun freeze was to be implemented, I haven't used it since or seen anyone using it in game but people are just overusing it and putting it out of context on the forums.

On topic: Just don't buy it.

I shouldn't have to make a post before i buy a weapon all the time. The price should determine how good the gun is. and if it's a novelty weapon say it's one

He's saying he should be able to figure out these things without having to ask others.  

The way you use a gun is what determines how good it is.  

i would agree with you on most guns, but this is one of those guns that cant be used good.

I'm sure it will be abused and then there's a bug that let's you keep the gun. I can predict it now, if that idea comes to fruition.

Lol, that'd only happen if whoever's scripting it has a very minimal clue what they're actually doing. And even if it did happen, it could be patched by someone like snk if it came down to it. loludumb  

if snk were to patch that then you would have to pay 1000$ to try it out. Also he would reduce the time to 15 seconds.

Christ people, stop getting all butthurt about new content and shouting "zera" as if iEra was the first server to have these things.

No one is FORCING you to purchase the flamethrower, and it's not game-breakingly over/underpowered. The flamethrower is useful for comedic reasons, getting rid of the effects of poison (see: goonadier), etc.

Comedic purposes? I would not pay 30k for "comedic purposes". It is a very underpowered weapon for 30k, and should be buffed. Something as simple as 360 degree shooting and being able to walk while shooting would be good enough.
