We should bring back capture the flag! People were boosting because of capture the flag, but why shut the whole place down when you can just make the player kills not able to go into you're status. Capture the flag was one of the best things ever created! It taught the young infants to show dignity leadership and spirit! Capture the flag is a revolutionary change throughout society and maybe even thru the divine universe! Capture the flag changed lives motivated the poor, and taught that when you're bored of towering,afk,buying hats, and sparring. Capture the flag will solve you're boredom! let's bring capture the flag! And also probably make it more challenging kindof like sardon spike room, because it's kindof easy to get to the other side.

Nobody ever played it unless an admin announced they were going to play. But the first week it came out was great.  

it should be an event game.  

Maybe they should make it more complex and make it look noticeable. Maybe make it interesting where you could win prizes kindof like a hierarchy. Win 20 times you get a hat win 40 times you get an emote, when 80 times you get a mount, win 100 times you get this rare prize.  

It was awesome the first couple of weeks it was released, everyone was there playing it. Then nobody ever played anymore, but I agree instead of deleting it they could've had improved it by making rewards or so.  

I would like to start by apologizing for being one of the factors that closed down the CTF

A while back I was doing CTF, it was like 10 noobs vs 9 noobs and me, I was defending and we were at 0-0 for about 15 minutes. I decided to go to the red teams base and sword spam their entrance to kill them at .5. They got butt hurt I raiped them so they reported me for boosting(which I was not doing, it was a strategy to win) and then they started doing the same thing. When I logged back in I was surprised that I was banned. I deleted my app and re-installed it to bypass the ban. I sent a feedback raging about the dumb ass that banned me unjustly and I finished the feedback with "Its not my fault classic staff is to lazy or incompetent to find a solution" about a month later they closed it down and heres the reason why

Not trying to change the subject too much, but what was it necessary to remove CTF? Why couldn't it be changed like houses were changed, just remove the ability to receive more kills. I really liked that game

Because a glitch with the way client handles deaths made it impossible to do anything like that. The way people were boosting were bypassing any sort of scripting logic. I wouldn't have removed it if were was a way to easily fix it.

Exactly ! They should fix the fact you could kill people in your status, and like i said they should have a hiarchy of awards  

I dunno bout you guys, but I play "Capture The Bush".
I get 2 teams of ppl. Both teams near a bush field.
Get the other team's bush to your side, without dropping it or dying.
And yes, you're able to sneak around in it.
So, when you see a blonde clown running around with a bush, it's me.  

I dunno. I didn't like it I was pretty bad at it...  

Imo Dusty tries to do what he can,and has tried to fix CTF,but has been unsuccessful. I'm not saying there aren't crap admins that are to lazy,incompetent,biased,and immature to appropriately handle the job of being a member of the Classic staff.

I do think there are good members of staff to that give what time they do have,and put a good amount of effort to produce stuff for the largely unappreciative players of Classic. Like Dusty for instance I believe with out guys like him or even Rufus Classic would be dead in the water.

I never played CTF much as I usually spent my time towering, however I did have friends that regularly played CTF and I was starting to play it from time to time before it closed. The only problem I had with it was it seemed like the teams where almost always unbalanced or uneven,and I was hoping they would make a que system to help with that.

I still think it will be back in the some what near future or we will at least get some other type of multi-person mini game to play in its place.

It can be fixed, and maybe it will... but there are other things on the table right now. CTF wasn't popular enough to justify the time it would take.

No because the numbers before it was closed showed how important it is. Now people just want to play it because they can't anymore.
