Animal Crossing doesn't really get worse imo. It always expands the concept of the game fairly well(or at least, adds more variety). However, I loved the fishing in the original. Every time you entered a new area the fish respawned, and when it rained it increased the spawn rates of rare fish. You could literally go up and down the coast on a rainy morning and and just fish... and fish. You'd get Red snappers and barred knifejaws mostly. Lots of money. Also, more importantly you casted out far and the bobber came back to you instead of going outwards. It was infinitely more easier to line up a fish because you could cast past it and just wait for the bobber to move in front of fish. However, it was so good you might consider it a bit OP. I could pull in like 500,000 in just an hour or two on a rainy morning. |

Fishing for Marlins, Sharks, Hammerheads and Sunfish was such a huge thrill for me in every AC. Scorpion/Tarantula and Golden stag hunting was the most memorable and fun part about AC for me, though. I remember any time I saw a fin in the water or a Scorpion rustling around, my heart would explode in excitement. I just loved completing my fish and bug museums. MUH NOSTALGIA |

It could do without the villagers constantly asking to move/moving without permission. That's one of the major issues I have with this game. It's still very fun.

Fun fact: There's an Animal Crossing game for the N64. Japan only release. |

It's pretty similar to the one we had on the Gamecube(hence why it looked so **** for a Gamecube game), as the first US AC was just the N64 one ported to GC. Annoyingly for the past week or so I can only find one or two fossils every day. I know it's supposed to spawn four, but I can not for the life of me find them anymore. I'm talking every single day for the past week... |

There's probably one or two behind houses somewhere. New ones won't spawn to replace them until you find them.
