Does Bakemonogatari ever get good or is it just a bunch of fanservice?

Haven't finished it myself, but from what I've heard, there is a few decent seasons after it, but for the most part it's fanservice and SHAFT head tilts.  

I take back everything I said. On episode 5 now and its really starting to pick up!

Bakemonogatari gets good. I liked Monogatari: Second Season the most, but if you can't get through Nisemonogatari I wouldn't blame you. If you think Bakemonogatari has a lot of fanservice wait for the next season.  

Do you guys hide your power level or do you admit you watch anime openly?  

I have no problem admitting to watching anime. Sure they've had some bad stereotypes with either being a kids thing or a bunch of tentacles, but recently it's getting more popular thanks to SAO and AoT being top hits in the west. Plus I have a group of friends I can easily talk about anike with in real life and I usually jump into anime conversations I hear at school.

I don't understand why you would have to hide it. I wear anime shirts out at my college campus a lot and get complimented from people. Anime is pretty awesome.

I don't have any anime merch but I haven't minded friends catching me watch something like Mekakucity Actors, Shingeki no Kyojin or Code Geass in the past. Don't give a **** about social status or my "image". Don't see why anyone would be insecure about this anyway lmao

Well I finally watched White Album 2. My feels, they hurt too much.

Then I found out that the anime is actual a prologue to an even bigger story with an even more devastating ending. I don't know if I can last a second season.  

Yeah Glasslip is the worst show of the season. Not thing has progressed and its 9 episodes in.

Tokyo ESP is the worst of the season for me, followed by Glasslip. It's just those two I don't really care for the characters and I expected Tokyo ESP to get out of the past by now.

At least Tokyo ESP is somewhat fun to watch. Glasslip is so boring and painful to watch. Although if a School Days type ending happens then ill be fine with that
