It doesn't matter if it only spreads like wild fire in Africa at this point if it isn't contained by January they predict nearly a million people will be affected thus leading to a higher chance of this becoming a global issue disease. The last thing you want to go doing is not caring about it because your "oh America is so great and powerful!" speech won't prevent the out break from occurring in America.

Just because some sensationalist doctor says it doesn't mean it's true. Besides, even with the largest known epidemic of Ebola, only about 3,000 instances of the disease were recorded. Thats just the problem, there has only been one so far. You're one of those people adding more fear and problems into people even though you yourself know nothing of this outcome. All we really can do is wait and see how the government handles the situation at hand. Not saying we shouldn't be worried, but I mean its through bodily fluids. Keep your hands to yourself and you'll be fine. There are over 20 million human beings on earth, only 3000 have died and 1 infected in U.S. Ebola isn't curable but its fixable by rehydrating the body and having good care from hospitals.



Please explain to me when it will go airborne when it cant remain stable in air.

I'm not so concerned about the whole situation right now. What would start to concern me is the fact that if nothing is done in Africa and we cut off all communications and flights then Africa will be recieving absolutely no help from America in terms of doctors and medicine (which they need). So even if we keep everything calm and controlled in America it will begin to spread like wildfire all over the middle-east. But if we can contain it over there then we'll be fine. The whole situation still is a bit spooky though.

Someone from the United States got Ebola from Africa. We don't know enough about the virus to assume "Oh, its just going to be in Africa since their immune systems are different."
Again, to answer that statement, a guy from America got it in Africa without even realizing it. That tells me its affecting Americans just like it is Africans.

Although it is being over-dramatized, it's nothing to be taken lightly and we must realize another "Black plague" is bound to happen, and maybe this is that coming.
Ebola has been around for AGES, but it has never been in the stages it is now. Its increasing and spreading.

Also, it could be a "don't let America or other countries panic" type of thing and that's why we're all told its not very easily spreaded. Some of you probably think "you don't know what you're talking about, something like this wouldn't be lied about like that."
Reality check, lies like this happen all the time so we don't raid shops for canned good and isolate ourselves. If that happened, how would any resturaunts make money? Entertainment centers? Gyms? People taking online classes only?

Yes, that's a dramatic way of saying it, but we don't know enough yet to come to the conclusion this stuff won't happen.

Although this isn't a reliable source, some of the content could be correct and e don't know for sure.
I'm also going to count CNN and health sites not credible on the topic because we don't know the virus well and news media is the best way for the government to reach to us to "not be scared. Don't panic."
(Just stating, I'm not suggesting you should panic lol)

If you were referring to my statement about immunity, you misinterpreted it. When I said that, I meant the opposite of what you thought I was saying. I noted that Americans have different immune systems than Africans. In other words, we have no ****ing clue how the ebola virus will affect Americans.  

Problem solution: **** Africa, lets get on with our lives.
I mean really how many god damn diseases are they gonna give us? Its like a new damn disease every month and then they don't even bother trying to get good medicine or just medical related crap to fix their own problem. Cut them off please.. I know its messed up but really? AFRICA = EXTINCTION.

They aren't "giving" us diseases. They only contract those pathogens through the absence of vaccinations and sanitation, and not to mention their plants/animal life, climate, and other weather factors. If the U.S. was under their conditions, it'd have a whole lot to "give".

You obviously dont know what a third world country is or how it operates with dictators, terrorists and civil wars daily.
By all means, invent "medicine and medical related crap" when you are having a hard time finding food and clean water. Then your statement may hold some valid points.

U.S could have thrown clean water etc. and given them a better environment. I understand they don't want disease but seriously, how many. I know how the conditions are but this is just a statement thats been being asked by alot of people. I never said the american didnt do it himself, I'm just saying this couldve gone way easier if U.S cut the flights and helped them, they could've helped a LOOONG time ago.

Then "if" this problem is resolved #givethemabetterwaytolive? Cuz I mean, ad's are obviously being ignored. America has so much money, the least they could do is help them with clean water and everything 24/7, clean the water etc. Its americas fault too.  

You just said cut them off. Now you are saying America should help them. They can't do both.

The way you stated your original statement basically made it sound like you blame Africa for this. "Africa=extinction". As if Africans want this to happen, or as if they are the ones coming to our country bringing the infection.

Also, America contracts a lot of deadly diseases WITHIN America too lol.
