I found a petrified not from digging. It seems to be like a rock but im not sure where to turn it in? I also saw one person have another artifact so i think theres multiple objects to get.

:0 ok, i figured it out. If you find an artifact, hold it up to that guy that says to dig. He'll go to the place where you found your artifact, so go back there. He then will give you the translation notes so you can talk to the native people. I'm not sure if you need to turn in the book, but as long as you have it, you may but furnitures and interact with the native people, etc.  

Where did you find it?  

In one of the huts the man says you can find rare "pelts".

Does anyone where you can find them or if you can actually find them?
How many types are there?  

You have to complete a task for the Chief (in the north-most tent) to get the bear hat; and show the hat to the medicine man to get morph. I saw people in there with other morphs... Dont know how to get those....

Something to fix: the totem pole furniture does not allow you to edit the layering, so its always on layer 0. So you can walk on top of stacked totems :0  

Someone please confirm this.

It is promotional content for Ol'West, but it is permanent.

There is no spawn rate, the location is just randomized every so often.
