When I started playing Graal into 2009 I was a boy who was insecure and bullied every day. I was not happy with myself had no self-respect and thought little of who I was. I then found this game and used it to my advantage. I found that people excepted me for who I really was and that I didn't have to fake being someone else. It showed me that the world, the Internet was full of real people with issues like mine, some worse. I made friends, not knowing what they look like or where they came from only knowing their personality. And it was enough. Why would you need to know what someone looks like to judge them? Why would you need to know anything but who they really were? Graal did teach me something: a great life lesson. I gained more respect for myself and for others. I never would've guessed looking glass screen for over 1000 hours would've brought me from being bullied to being accepted and friendly with everyone. And it made all the difference.

i've never been bullied i think it was because i had too much time on my hands. my grades were fine... or if there was a bad grade, it was never because of graal  

Graal was pretty much a drug to me in 6th grade, soo...
It kinda contributed to my depression from 6-7th grade, which I believe changed my brain wiring which altered my autistic spectrum placement and therefore gave me enhanced low latent inhibition. I'd say it impacted my life in a good way, considering that now I'm 10x more intelligent than I would have been without it.

Now, here I am about 5 years later.  

Probably playing other games lol

I'm going to count Dinosmash here, another one of Eurocenter's games. All three of us moved on to Graal anyway. Met three great people, two of which are still my best online friends right now and whom I've played with on a daily basis since 2009, and the third, while I don't speak to them anymore, introduced me to a lot of his friends which soon became mine, who I've even met up with in real life, and still talk to today. It's also safe to say the third friend introduced me to more online gaming in convincing me to buy a 360 along with the other two which we all tagged along on for years until we moved to PC gaming.

Easily safe to say that these guys jumpstarted my addiction in gaming, from thousands of hours on Graal to countless more on 360 and PC. They're great guys, I've made a ton of incredible memories with them, and we're still kicking it on CS:GO, League of Legends and whatever other games we can all pick up on Steam. Even as I write this post right now, my 7 hour Skype call with one of them is still going on and we're having a hell of a time in competitive CS.

I'm not sure if it's what was exactly "best" for my future, since I was on a great academic path and your typical obedient, by-the-book student with great grades before I got hooked on gaming which distracted me from school a lot and noticeably dropped my grades and work ethic. Could be said that if they didn't, I'd find something else to take gaming's place, but even if that isn't the case, wouldn't have done it any other way. Still would have hit that install button.

There's something to be said for living life to the fullest, even if it means at the sacrifice of some bureaucracy like getting perfect grades.  

I wouldn't have met the guy who designed the portals Black Ops Zombies. But other than that, there would be no different.

Damn, it's not Graal causing your problems. It's you. Own up to it and don't pin it on a game lol.

Eh, I don't pin it all on a game. I blame the game for taking up my free time and providing me with easier ways to entertain myself than actually getting out into the world. Suppose the internet as a whole could be put to blame for that. That said, it is my fault I choose to continue playing games and browsing the web rather than putting myself out there, so I can and will own up to that.

Could be in a worse position, after all. Can't really complain about my life.  

Answer to this is Nowhere.  

Without graal I and a lot of other people wouldn't have been so addicted, got better grades, not using vulgar language all the time, I would be ALOT stronger, since I stopped lifting from the addiction. I wouldn't have to sneak on on restless nights. My parents would be happier with me. I would be out alot more, at friends houses, riding around on my bike or electric scooter (lol). Sometimes I wish I was never shown graal, but at the end of the day, kicking back when my muscles ache, I go to spar and it's all worth it.
