This thing seems pretty rad. I like the idea a lot. Hopefully it will deliver my expectations. What do you all think?  

Innovative, but I prefer a sturdy, larger sized laptop. Seems uncomfortable to type on etc.  

Too small to be used like a laptop and too awkward to be used as a phone.

Is it innovative though? It's not as if tiny laptops are a new idea... there's a reason they aren't popular or common  

I think it would be alright. They are making much more comfortable than its predecessor. Plus the 5" 720p screen would be pretty easy to manage. My Vita is the same size and I believe it has the same resolution and I pretty much use it as a computer xD

It does seem like it would be a bit awkward as a phone if you made a call. Texting would be ok, but you would just hold it in front of you to talk. It would look like you're talking with your game system. Weird.

Innovative, I think, more so that its a handheld PC with full game controls and special emulation software. I don't see those anywhere else xD

it would be better if its the whole cpu, graphics, and all of those other stuff. ^_^

I think it could. Theoretically. You can install a different OS if you so choose from a bootable SD card. I'm not sure if the hardware would support it, but it may be possible. I would ask here http://boards.openpandora.org  

Don't see how this is in any way advantageous to your standard mobile phone, which is much more streamlined. That keyboard looks awful.

lol yes, they have been discussing the keyboard on the forums a lot. Trying to get the layout perfected.

Well that's just it. It's not supposed to be. It has a phone function, but it's not a mobile phone. It's a laptop that can fit in your front pocket and has a 10 hour battery life.

Interesting, It think you'd have to use a distro (Niresh, iAtkos) for support. It would be cool to see a small computer with an "elite" OS.
