More vigilance on spar for speed hacking and delay hacking
Speed hacking and delay hacking will destroy sparring, and nobody is paying attention to it. You have a ban system, you need people who will actually enforce the rules, particularly in competitive settings.

Maybe set up a ban system like Zone? Like whenever the frame rate (Most of the people that "hack" are amateur script kiddies that uses the frame rate slider on Cheat Engine or uses an application that can modify frame rates) goes up to a certain amount, past the regular amount, that's an auto-ban? And yeah, on iOS, there's an app that either lets you increase your frame rates, or drop it below 0. So it will run veeery slow. Like -100 fps lmao Oops, let me it explain clearer. If the regular fps is 3, then auto-ban anyone whose frames are above 3. I don't really know how Graal works when it comes to things like these, but just a suggestion. Maybe add a speedhack detection that detects whenever a person is hacking, like how it detects you when you alter Graal files in iFile?

We don't know who are the current GP's to determine if they are online or not. Usually none are online during the morning shift or night shift. Also some don't pay attention to sparring since players report for lag/hack and assume they are lying. So best to have an auto-detect system.

There's been auto-detection, but I imagine with so many people on Graal these days, it would spam RC. Alternate solution would be a semi-automated system where there's automatic detection of speed/delay hacking, and when a player corroborates the speed/delay hacking the system throws an RC alert. If multiple people are corroborating and nobody's doing anything about it then RC probably deserves to get spammed.

The auto-detection was used but it had many flaws such as false alarms

Can you elaborate on delay hacking? Or do you just mean using a VPN? Not that I'd ever see the point of increasing one's delay, or how it would really affect sparring that much. It isn't like delayers are a "higher level" than the rest of us, it just forces good sparrers to adapt instead. It doesn't create an advantage, just changes the spar really, for the both of you.

It's a dilema that our society simply cannot seem to understand this. |

There used to be an automated system to detect speed hacking on iClassic, but I have to assume it was wonky and showed lots of false positives. I was banned once while just walking to the GS arena in Swamptown with Crono, reason was for speed hacking. It isn't used anymore. More annoying than the obvious 300% speeders are the ones who modify their speed by 1-10% to achieve what they think is an unnoticeable advantage. People who have sparred for a long time can almost always spot it. Several sparrers that spar daily in the arena do this, but I won't name names because this thread will then erupt into 14 pages of flaming. I've explained a method for how to detect if someone is "hacking delay," more specifically using a VPN. I don't think it will ever be implemented so it isn't worth explaining again. I don't really know what GPs monitor, but there should be no way that a player is able to speed hack in spars for an hour straight, while getting reported, at around 11 PM EST, without getting banned. One or two GPs should probably be exclusively assigned to monitor the arena and towers. I'll volunteer, go ahead and hire me. |

What do you expect when staff have this much experience with graal \There should be a minimum level of kills, baddy kills and spars to become an admin so you can understand all the areas of the game. |

Not everyone cares about stats. Lmao. And those things aren't really even relevant to being staff of any kind unless you're hosting a gst or changing scripts (pretty unlikely for the average person )
