Way more than a 'few' people would have this hat because it is something that anyone can achieve and it is not a limited time item therefore having it does make anyone seem more important than anyone else.

Although, it'd be fun to have it as a sign of dominance over the noobs who suck and can't get one.

A lot can change in 5 months and unless you analyzed the spar community within that time frame you have no basis to state that it did not die down, whereas Thallen and the numerous other spar people in this thread have been seeing the community on a daily basis and can easily tell whether it is dying or not.

I'm an active sparrer myself, and I see no need for this. Especially since the guy who is proposing the idea is just doing it to have more hats, which, is completely fine with me, but he should just say he's just proposing the hats to be brought back because he wants more hats.

I personally don't think sparring is dying, but that's just my opinion. I honestly don't see a need for this.

because I rush into a mad dash to immediately put out hats when I finish a tower guild (Glyph took 6 months, Unreal still doesn't have theirs because I care so little about it)
because I haven't posted in the constant threads where people complain about the quality of GST hats telling them it isn't a big deal (while having won them for a year straight now)

you aren't an active sparrer either, you're just some trash poster who hides behind a name and makes the claim to try and give your garbage posts weight
doesn't matter if you see a need for it anyway because it's being done, it's just a matter of when - people bump this thread as a reminder of FP4's promise, not to gain support from plebs like you

Is this something that should be at the top of the developers' priorities list? Surely they have more important things to work on. I don't think bumping this thread continually is necessary. This shouldn't be at the top of a priorities list. It isn't game-breaking without this.

Why does the sparring community need to be active? It's not like the community is absolutely dead. It's not. And even if it was, why would you need to stir up more activity? Please give me a valid reason as to why the community needs to be active.

Here's what's gonna happen if this is added: Hat prizes will be released, for one week all the role-players from Graal city will be in the Battle Arena, after a week there will be three different threads complaining about the quality of the hats, and then everything will go back to the way it was and the only people who will be sparring will be the same people who were there in the first place, with the exception of one or two people who migrated from the Burger Refuge to the Battle Arena.

As I read through this thread, the only thing you say when someone disagrees with you is that "they're angry that they aren't gonna get a hat and they're gonna be jealous because you'll have something they don't".

Can you think of anything else other than "you'll be jealous" to back up your argument? If you can't, then it's a poor argument to begin with. I could care less if you have a hat I don't. So no, I'm not jealous.

GTFO everyone else, spar hats would be way cool. I think it should be seasonal I want more hats. I mean seasonal as in every season there is a bar to reach to earn hat.

This right here is what makes you trash, thallen. Nobody cares about your stats or your "accomplishments". You treat others and their work like trash. You didn't hold that tower for 1k hours, you guild did. And now you sit here and publicly say you don't give a **** about any of them.

Release an NPC in Destiny this week that checks your stats to allow you to be rewarded with corresponding hat(s)  

bump. these need to be added. I'm almost at 10k and I believe rather then getting just a number on you're profile you also deserve some sort of Hat or Mount/gani
